I agree about the whole Denny thing. She's been annoying and PMSing lately. I think she should just chill. She claims she wants a drama-free summer break, but I don't think she realizes that she's the one making and starting up all of the unwanted drama haha. Oh well.
Some girls are just weird! I admit, I think I can be like that sometimes. But I'm not perfect, soooo....

I tried not to act so awkward at another one of Leslie and Jeff's house dinners, with Cloe not there and all, it was sort of a break from stressing over Blake and stuff. I couldn't help but to glance at Logan and Erica occasionally, although they were sitting far away from each other. "This salad is very delicious, Les." Kristina told her sister with a gorgeous smile. Leslie just nodded and Jeff placed his arm around her.
"Okay guys, time for dessert. Anyone want ice cream cake?" Leslie asked all of us, looking around.
"Me!" Allison and Cassidy said simultaneously. They exchanged eye contact for a quick second and started laughing. I smiled. If only I could be that happy...
"Anyone else?" She looked around and eyed her three sons, "I know you boys want some. Any takers?"
"Sure, mom." Tyler stood up and smiled at her, "I'll help serve."
They both went into the kitchen, followed by Kristina, Trevor, Trent, Cassidy, and Allison. I sighed a little and turned to Blake, who was looking at me with a small smile. Even if it was small, it lit up my mood just a little better. I glanced around and looked at Erica, who was playing with her fingernails. I wish we could go back to being friends again. I miss talking to her. I needed someone to vent out to about Tess and Cloe. Talking to Cassidy and Allison wouldn't be the same. Ryan was texting at the table, which I couldn't help but to find churlish. Elaine and Logan were both joking about something, and I averted my eyes towards them.
They stopped laughing as soon as I did.
"What's wrong?" I asked them.
"We should be asking you that." Elaine said. His eyes held pure sympathy and sorrow simultaneously. I smiled and tried to hide my bad mood.
"I'm good, honest." I assured. Logan gave me a snort that meant 'fucking liar' in his language.
Blake joined in on the conversation and frowned at me, "We can all tell you're-"
"Blake!" Tess exclaimed, calling him from across the dinner table. "Cloe's having a house party tommorrow. Interested?" She raised her eyebrows and Blake looked taken by surprise at her sudden offer. She had then turned to Elaine and Logan and Ryan, "You guys can come too."
"And what about us?" Allison asked as soon as she came back with her ice cream cake. Tess just stared at her. Allison stared at her back, but this time, her eyes were slicing into Tess's. Allison may have changed into this sweet flower, but I could tell that she was dedicated to bringing out her deadly looks that she used to always give me and offering them to people she doesn't like. Like...Lily, for example.
"You guys can come too, I guess." Tess mumbled. Erica glanced at her and suddenly got up from the dinner table, walking out. I groaned mentally, wondering how many days would pass by until she goes back to her normal self. I miss that Erica. This Erica, was like a stranger to me. Someone who looked depressed all the time and was just...quiet. Cassidy walked back in with her ice cream cake and sat down beside Allison, glancing out of the room and turning back to everyone else.
"What's with Erica?" She asked. We all shrugged. Ryan wasn't paying attention at all. He was just...texting on his stupid phone.
Logan sighed and stood up, "Well, I'm going to go and get more food. Still hungry, you know?" He chuckled and walked out, not saying anything else.
