"That's your emergency?" Logan asked Erica in disappointed shock. "Man, I can't believe I had to be dragged here for this bullsh-"
"Logan, shut up." I told him with pointed eyebrows. Erica's eyes were bloodshot red, and I could tell she was crying minutes before Blake, Logan, and I showed up.
"What? I'm just saying. I'm not friends with her anyway, so why am I here again?" Logan asked Blake with an annoyed face expression.
"Remember the last time I left you alone with my xbox? I'm not letting that happen again." Blake said.
"But it didn't even break!" Logan shot.
"Um, hello? Are we forgetting that I need sympathy?" Erica asked. Her voice was shaking and she herself was shaking like a fragile leaf. I bit my lip silently, feeling so bad. What did she ever do to deserve this? Erica's one of the most sweetest people I've ever met. Although it's not my fault Ryan broke up with her, I feel like I play a big role in her depression, too.
"Erica, what do you need? Anything you want, and we'll do it for you." I assured. Blake nodded his head, trying to be a friend too.
"I'm not doing anything for her." Logan crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, "Why are you taking this break up so seriously? It's not like what you two had would last long anyway. I mean, really, are you surprised?" He asked her. Erica looked at him for a second, and her lips started to quiver. A tear rolled down her cheek and she just fell onto her couch, staring down at the carpeted floors as she continued to cry silently.
I shoved Logan out of the way so I could sit beside her, and he smacked his teeth and looked away in anger. Really, what's his damage? I mean, I know he's pretty upset that the sudden news interrupted his game time, but he's just too angry for that to be the only reason. It's almost as if, it wasn't anger he was feeling towards Erica. But something else...
I shook away the thoughts and hugged Erica. I had no time to think about anything ridiculous, I just want to be there for my friend in any way I can.
"Logan, maybe you should step outside." Blake told him slowly.
"Why? Because I'm speaking the truth?" He looked directly at Erica, who didn't exchange eye contact back. "You weren't seriously thinking it was going to last. Were you, Erica?" He asked her with some look in his eyes.
"I don't know! Leave me alone." She looked up at him and sent him a deadly glare.
"PMSing doesn't really help the situation." He responded with a devious smirk. She continued to giving him that deadly glare, and then she got up and went upstairs.
"Erica, don't be mad. Logan doesn't mean it, he's just-" I couldn't even finish my sentence because she slammed her room door from upstairs. As soon as it went awkwardly silent, I glared at Logan and Blake gave me a soft look. "Look what you did." I said to him.
"Someone had to tell it like it is. I mean, come on. You have to admit that as soon as the three of us got here, she was being a bitch." Logan stated.
"Maybe it's because you're here. I don't blame her." I stood up to go upstairs and comfort my best friend. Why did I even let Logan come? Why did I even let Blake come? Guys wouldn't understand this type of stuff.
Now, I've learned my lesson.

"This is so boring," I let out in a low voice to Erica on a Friday evening, watching a small group of students and a large number of faculty members drink green tea and hold conversation with a light flow of music going throughout the gym. "Why did we even show up? Why did we even agree to help out with this party? This is embarrassing." I muttered to her.
