Blake's POV

I stood in front of the door as soon as it slammed in my face. The bell rung before I could go inside. I stared at it in shock. What the...!!!!

"Blake, where were you going?" Logan asked me as soon as he and Allison caught up with me. I continued staring at the door, not saying a word. "Were you trying to embarrass Denny in front of the whole class?" He guessed.

I turned to him defensively, "Embarrass her?"

"Yeah. You apologizing to her in front of everyone will just embarrass her," Logan stated with a small smirk.

"Wrong." Allison said, "Everyone's going to think it's sweet. Especially since it's you, the almighty Blake Weatherly."

"I think so too." I agreed with her, nodding at Logan.

Logan rolled his eyes, "Well it's too late anyway. Let's just get to class."

Allison had suddenly gazed at her schedule card, "I have to go and find my first class, my uh...Math class. I know this class! The teacher is really cute! See you guys later." She turned on her heel and started walking out of the hallway, abandoning both me and Logan.

I walked out of my history class so fast and started to go for Chem. There's no way Denny can avoid me because we both have this class.

My eyes lit up with hope when I saw her walking in with Logan. I stepped inside and took a look at her. Logan was teasing her playfully, but she looked highly annoyed.

She glared at him and groaned, "God, Logan! Leave me alone. I swear, you can be such a-"

"What? I'm telling the truth. You're hurting him." Logan laughed out. He had then started glancing around the classroom and spotted me. He glanced at Denny, "See, there he is."

Denny rolled her eyes and sat at her seat, taking out her notebook and other things. As soon as Elaine walked in, I told him that I'll be sitting with Denny today, and he understood. Logan and Elaine sat as far away as they could from the two of us, like I was hoping they would. Denny stared straight ahead at Mrs. Filster, who was writing something on the board. But I could see that she was watching me sit next to her at the counter table from her peripheral vision. I heard her sigh under her breath.

I turned to her seriously, "Listen Denny, I-"

"Blake, is there something you need?" Ms. Filster had ask. Everyone turned to me, and I noticed some girls gazing dreamily at me. I turned around a few other times and finally turned to the teacher again.

"Um, no. I was just-"

"Try and listen to this. We have to do a lot of review since the final exams are coming up pretty soon, you know." She said, giving me a warning stare.

"Okay," I nodded my head and she smiled before turning back to the board again. I could hear Logan snickering from across the classroom, and I snapped at him with a glare. He shrugged while Elaine was sitting beside him, taking notes.

I continued looking at Logan as if he were some type of creature that didn't belong in the classroom. I watched him sneak out his phone and he started typing on it quietly. The next thing I knew, my phone started to vibrate. Denny glanced at me for a second and stared down at my pocket.
