How was everyone's Christmas? I had a good one. Got some books and a guitar (yay!) and other stuff. Anyway, here's more.

I won't tell Blake anything, I thought as I ran from Elaine's house, Yeah, that's what I'll do! Not say a word!
I mean, it's not like it was done intentionally. Elaine was drunk so he didn't know what he was doing. He'll probably be back to normal the next day and tell me that he didn't mean to say everything he said to me, and that he didn't mean to kiss me. That's if he even remembers what he did. If he doesn't, then I'll just pretend it never happened. That's what I'll do!
I started to slow down a bit when I noticed that I was out running in the dark...alone. Night had fallen without me even noticing it.
I looked around helplessly as cars passed by and ignored me completely. There were only two street lights. I took out my cell phone and punched in the road name and my address through the map quest app. I looked at the horrid calculations. At this point through walking distance, I'll be home in an hour and a half.
"Crap!" I shouted. I'd hate to ask Erica to come and get me, since she just dropped me off. I would be a horrible and needy friend. I thought about asking Logan to come and get me, but then he'd probably just make up some stupid excuse so he doesn't have to deal with me. I thought about my uncle, but he's been really busy lately. My dad comes home this weekend, and my mom left in the morning to go to Albany.
Blake's the only option.
No, I can't! I'd rather walk home. I can't look at him now, just knowing that some other guy kissed me before he showed up, just knowing it was his best friend. I can't do it. Not now. I can't face him now. He'll act all suspicious because my panicking is really obvious whenever I would try to hide it. I'll just walk. I started walking again, my breathing rate steady once more. As soon as I heard noises coming from a nearby bush, I widened my eyes and ran off in fright. When I slowed down and distanced myself long enough away from it, I started breathing harder again. I snatched out my cell phone.
"Calling Blake sounds like a wonderful idea," I said quickly while dialing his number.

"What were you doing all the way over here anyway?" Blake asked me during the drive.
I tried to play it cool. I had my hands in my lap, "Elaine wanted to talk to me about something."
Confusion flashed in his eyes. "Oh. Um, what for?" He sounded uneasy and he fidgeted a little while driving. Oh my gosh, what do I say?! I have to think of something!
"Something about graduation. He needed some help with his graduation project." I blurted it out.
Blake started laughing, "We turned those in last month."
"He wanted for me to have a copy. So I can get an idea on what to do when I become a senior." I turned the other way, thinking about how stupid my reasons were. I expected for him to not buy it, but surprisingly, he did.
"Okay then." He turned straight ahead without saying anything else.
When he pulled up to my house, I got out and slammed the car door. I ducked my head into the window on his side and smiled, "Thank you."
"What do I get in return?" He raised an eyebrow teasingly and started to smirk.
I darted my eyes off to the side and turned to him again. I started blushing, "Um, another thank you?"
