It was a day Lucy could never forget. As long as she lives, she will always keep in mind of what happened, death. She put her hand on the surface of one of the rocks that collapsed. Staring at it, she looks back to Erza, unable to stop the tears from falling.
Erza drew her swords towards the rocks. Focusing on several points, she managed to find a spot where she could cut the rocks to smaller pieces. With force, strength and power, she immediately used her skill to minimize the size of the blockage instead of pointlessly cutting the rocks to dust.
After the blockage was removed, ice formation stood before them, with a girl with white hair entrapped within it coldly, frozen.
''Mira!'' Lucy shouted, running towards the front of the ice that seemed unbreakable by mere strength.
Erza walked by the area and studied the ice that was present. Noticing a change in the air, she faces Lucy and points at Mira. ''She's alive. Her magic, though weak, is still there. And this ice, this may not be Gray's but..''
''But what?'' A thought entered her mind.
Erza slices off the ice that trapped Mira. In a second, Mira's body fell to Lucy's arms and rested, unconsciously. ''There is a slight presence of Gray's magic, most likely, the magic is related to him. I don't know about Lyon, I don't recognize his magic aura that much.''
Lucy rubbed Mira's head ''So, this is completely related to Gray?''
''I can't say for sure.'' Erza pulled down her sword.
''I don't really like the sound of that.'' Lucy said.
''True. But we have yet confirmed that. We must find the others. Let's go.'' Erza led Lucy inner to the cave.
The two felt the never-ending heat inside the cave, it was supposed to be cold, but it was the opposite. None of their magic's could help them, the Celestial Spirits can, but it would quickly drain Lucy's magic energy as she had just used up some of her magic energy during their encounter with the Guardian.
Erza was busy trying to track down where the unusual magic power's trail. She wasn't used to doing the kind of thing but the cave was split to three separate paths. She had no choice.
Lucy started to fan herself with her hand alone. She wasn't able to use her fan since it froze earlier. Even if she tries to use it, it will melt to liquid. Literally.
They found out that the ice the Guardian's magic was different from Gray's as the objects frozen will turn to ice itself. The object will melt if melted. But human bodies turned out to be ineffective of that effect but still receives damage. Not to mention, the ice is obviously sharp and cold.
Still, it was no excuse for them to back out and leave the island. After all, Fairy Tail members would never even think of something like betrayal. Lucy, of course, as the new Master of the guild, why would she? And Titania, Erza Scarlet, she probably wouldn't.
While walking, Lucy was reminded of how people used to call them. The Salamander, The Exhibitionist Ice Mage, The Bunny, and Titania, but what bugged her is the origin of Titania. Why was she called that?
And she thought, it would be disrespectful to ask at the moment.
Maybe it came from her heart alone.
But a guess will take her nowhere.
''Hey Erza, don't you think this cave is too long for this island? I mean I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take this ---''
They didn't notice a giant hole in front of them. Both of them fell, unaware of it.
''FAAAAAAAAAAR AAAAAAAH!!!'' Lucy screamed.
