Guilt is for people who care.
Regret is for sissies.
Reconsideration is for noobs.
I’m none of these things.
So why do I feel like maybe I made the wrong choice?
Like maybe I could have made her life that much worse?
Why do I even care about her life?
Her feelings?
Her golden brown eyes that seem to pull you in?
Whatever. It must just be my exhaustion talking.
