Part 37
Calista’s POV
It’s so dark.
I blinked once, twice.
The light sneaked up on me and I turned my head away quickly, moaning.
My moans had caught someone’s attention and a body was leaning over me.
His blonde hair flopped over his eyes.
His eyes.
Purple eyes.
He looks like someone I know.
Someone I know…
“Now let’s see who has a way out Evan,” the man said, as I struggle to identify him with my blurred vision. What was his name? I strained to remember. My head just felt so fuzzy, I couldn't piece together any basic thoughts, let alone identify this mysterious assailant.
But why did it feel so important? I had seen him!
Think Calista! Think!
Another thought takes over and I pause.
He said…Evan…
“Evan!” I shouted.
My eyes jerk completely open before there is a searing pain in my arm and the world sinks into darkness once more.
