Valentines Specials!
A Chocolate Filled Heart
3rd Person Pov
Evan opened his locker at the end of the day, only to find more valentines chocolates come tumbling out. With an agitated sigh, he swept them off of the floor and into the nearby garbage can with the rest of them. He didn’t like gifts, and absolutely despised chocolate. Especially when it was given to him as a pathetic show of affection from needy, airheaded girls. He sighed again, running one hand distractedly through his hair. He really didn’t understand this whole concept of Valentines Day. Were humans so cruel that they wanted to make a day that highlighted rejections, lonely singles, and overall annoyance?
“Dude! Where’s all your chocolate?! I know you’re not exactly the nicest person in school, but I would have thought you would have gotten at least one chocolate,”
Evan turned to see Logan shuffling towards him, his arms wrapped around a plastic bag filled with chocolates.
“I hate chocolate, and I hate all the girls in this hell-hole. So it’s over there.” Evan replied. Gesturing towards the garbage can. Logan sent Evan a disbelieving smile.
“That’s messed up dude. Real messed up. But I guess that’s just how you are,” he shrugged. “Anyway, here. You’re not gonna like it, but I have some more gifts in here for you. They’re from all the girls who are too scared to give it to you face to face or couldn’t find your locker.”
Logan grinned cockily at Evans groan of disgust,
“Just keep it for yourself. Save me the trouble of throwing it out. Besides, I can already see that some cheapo is trying to win me over with corner store chocolates. Jeez, the girl’s here either try to hard, or don’t try at all ya know?”
“’Kay. Whatever. Well I gotta go dude. This chocolate is heavy and I needa drop it off at home before going out to meet Cynthia.”
“Cynthia? You already have another girl?”
“Dude! Kelly and I were WAY past the three day mark! Besides, when you have looks like these, it’s a crime not to share them amongst the female population. Besides, she’s Brazilian.”
“Ah. A foreign chick.”
“Yup. And what’s better, she can barely speak English! Now I won’t have to listen to her yakking. Score!”
Logan attempted to punch the air victoriously, but ended up dropping the chocolate and having to scramble to catch it before they fell. Evan snickered,
“Yeah. Real smooth dude. I bet that move just have the ladies falling to your feet.”
“Whatever man, clumsy guys are considered quite attractive these days. I gotta go. See ya!”
With that, Logan hobbled off.

Just around the hallway, Calista was busy having an inner battle with herself. She clutched the pink parcel tightly in her hand and furrowed her brow as she waited by McKenzie’s locker.
“God, I really don’t want to do this,”
“Come on. You said he’s been tutoring you or something after school right? The least you could do was give him some chocolate as a thank-you gift!”
“Yeah! But that jerk probably already has loads of chocolate! Besides, it’s gonna be so awkward since it’s Valentines Day and all.”
“I thought you decided to give him the chocolatebecause it’s Valentines Day?”
