Found You!!!! Werewolf Mr.L X Reader

Author's Note: This request is for LUIGIGURL1987 who wanted a friendship/Fluff one shot of Mr.L and the Reader. As usual this chapter might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. I  hope I fulfill the criteria and you enjoy this story!! Italics: Thoughts Bold:Information

~Your Point of View~

I'm very worried, where could he be? I thought as I posted a sign on a telephone pole. You're probably wondering what I'm doing well I've been putting up posters, what kind of posters? Missing Person's posters. It's been a month since I last saw him, my best friend, Mr.L the Green Thunder. He never had any friends in his life until I moved to the Mushroom Kingdom a couple of months ago.

~Flashback~ A Few Day After I moved In

As I was walking through the park I see a lone man sitting on a bench far away from the public, I hear many people talk about him and saying bad things. I was staring at him seeing his eyes filled with no anger or hatred but loneliness and sorrow, I couldn't help but go near him. Many people gasp as I went to the man dressed in black and dark green "Um... excuse me what's your name?" I questioned the silver eyed man. He was stunned for a bit then spoke "It's Mr.L now leave me alone". He replied as I obeyed his wish. Ever since I first spoke to him I made it my mission to make him speak more and be my friend. Bit by bit little by little he began to speak more and became a bit friendly to me. Mr.L at first thought of me as a pest and annoying but as I visited him everyday he got used to my appearance and company. He would tell me  his past and himself and then I would tell him of mine, it was very interesting whenever he talks about his inventions. 

~Flashback End~ Present Day

I sighed as I continued to walk back home looking at the posters lining the telephone poles.The posters read: Missing: Mr.L Last seen: Mushroom Public Park Description: Male Brown Hair Silver eyes wearing Black and Dark Green. If found please call (Your Phone Number). Please come back Mr.L I miss you and need you I thought desperately as I entered my home. 

~Mr.L Point of View~

I continued watching (Your Name) in the shadow hiding myself from everyone. I know it's been a month since I've last met her in person but ever since I met 'Him'  [Kamek Super Mario Bros Wii] he caused me problems, making me avoid my brothers [In this story Mario and Luigi are his brothers] and my only best friend. As I watched (Your Name) enter her house I see a few tears escape her eyes which made my heart ache.  (Your Name) I will return one day this I promise!! I thought as I ran away.

~Third Person Point of View~ A Few Days Later

We see (Your Name) walking home alone at midnight. She was attending a party at Peach's Castle but lost track of time. It's a nice quiet night the stars shining, crickets chirping, and a beautiful full moon in the dark sky. But as she continues he journey home she heard footsteps behind her, she looked around and finds nothing. She took a few steps and hears the footsteps again, (Your Name) started to panic and ran as fast as she can. As she ran she saw her stalkers a bunch of Hammer Bros. [Super Mario Bros.] most likely some of Bowser's minions chasing her. She ran as fast as she can but then tripped on a rock and fell, (Your Name) tried to escape but was nabbed by the group, tied up, and gagged. 

~Your Point of View~

"What does Lord Bowser want with this girl?" One Hammer bro spoke. "He wants this girl as bait for the Mario bros and possibly a potential wife for one of his children." The second one said as he started to drag me away from my home. I tried to struggle and speak but it was useless sine no one will save or notice me. This is it... Good bye everyone Good Bye Mr.L I'll miss you I thought as I lost hope. But before we could leave Toad Town I heard scary growls and see a pair of glowing red eyes which scares me. 

~Third Person Point of View~

The group stopped and took fighting positions some became determined while the rest became scared (Your Name) included. "Show yourselves coward!!" A Hammer Bro demanded armed with a hammer. While searching for the red eyes one Hammer Bro was hit by a fast brown blur. One by one a Hammer Bro was knocked out by the brown blur until the last one was all that's left. The Hammer Bro was feeling very scared "P-Please don't kill me I surrender!!" He spoke trembling in fear but also shared the same fate as he too was knocked out.

~Your Point of View~

While the large brown wolf is distracted I tried to struggle and escape fearing that it'll eat me. All of a sudden the wolf turned around to face me and I struggled faster as it moved closer. I closed my eyes and whimpered in fear.... but felt no pain? I opened my eyes to see the wolf chewing the ropes with his sharp teeth. After a few minutes the rope breaks and the wolf backed away from me slowly, I then took off my gag and stared at the one who saved me. I studied his features a large brown wolf, male and eyes that are... silver? What?!? I looked closer and stared at his eyes closely Yep silver but why do they remind me of Mr.L? I thought. But then the wolf  gave out a small sad whine as his ears droop and his tail stopped wagging, I reached out to touch it but then it started to rain as the dark storm clouds covered the full moon. I tried to cover myself with the hood of my jacket and saw the surprise of my life!! The large brown wolf started to become less animal like and more human, all that was left of the wolf was a very familiar guy. My jaw dropped and my eyes widen "NO WAY MR.L?!?" I exclaimed. 

~Third Person Point of View~

Rain continues to pour and thunder booms into the night as we see (Your Name) staring at her 'lost' best friend. Mr.L kept standing wearing his familiar black and dark green attire but now has wolf ears and a tail in silence. For he feared that (Your Name) will be scared of him and not be his friend anymore, so he started to back away heading for the woods. "NO STOP!!" (Your Name) shouted then surprised Mr.L by hugging him "Please don't leave me!! I missed you Mr.L!!" She responded and started to cry not caring about the rain. Mr.L was shocked [Pun Intended] that she didn't scream or run away, so he slowly hugged his only friend. "I'm sorry (Your Name) for avoiding you and making you worry, I was afraid that you'd hate me and leave me alone." Mr.L spoke in a sad tone. (Your Name) then looked at Mr.L in the eyes "I would NEVER hate you Mr.L you're my best friend, you're not a monster you'll always be Mr.L to me." Mr.L was surprised to say the least and smiled "Thank you (Your Name) for being my friend." As they both walked to (Your Name)'s house Mr.L told her everything that happened during his disappearance. 

~Three Weeks Later~

At the Mushroom Public Park we see (Your Name) on the bench all alone but then was interrupted by a small tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see Mr.L as he joined her and started talking as usual. Mr.L told his brothers about his curse and were glad that he returned though they did argue a bit. Yes Mr.L still has wolf ears and tail as part of the werewolf curse but never hurt or killed anyone. Though some of the civilians avoid Mr.L and say bad things (Your Name) and Mr.L ignored them and continued being friends. Numbers don't matter when it comes to having a friend(s).
