Author's Note: This request is for Pokennat2121 who wanted a Dimentio X Magic Child Reader Friendship One Shot Story!! As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. This takes place in a Alternate Universe!! The Reader is Gender Neutral if you're wondering!! ~Third Person Point of View~

Many have known the Charming Jester for not only his poetry but for his knowledge and mastery over magic. One day a family sought after the magician for help and sent him a letter. To the families relief Dimentio agreed to help the family as he made his way to (Town/City Name), where the family is currently living. "Hello Mr/Mrs (Last Name) may I come in?" Dimentio asked. "Oh why yes Dimentio!!" He/She replied as Dimentio followed the Male/Female into the home. "So what's the problem?" Dimentio asked. "Well a few days ago our child (Your Name) began showing signs of magic." Mr/Mrs (Last Name) informed me. "Magic? How?" The Jester wondered. "See for yourself." He/She replied and gestured Dimentio to the backyard. (If you don't have one just pretend). 

~Dimentio Point of View~

As I went outside I was met with shock and wonder. The backyard was covered in snow and ice!!  Snowflakes fell down from the sky, the pool is covered in ice, and different snowmen were decorating the backyard with their goofy faces. This places is beautiful... such powerful magic.... despite the summer heat the snow and ice aren't affected!! I thought in amazement. As I looked around I spotted a child who finished making a igloo with their  magic powers "There that should do it!!" They cried out in accomplishment. "Indeed little one." I spoke in a soft tome. They turned to face me. "W-Who are you mister?" (Your Name) asked. "I'm Dimentio as for why I'm here, your parents wanted me to help you." I replied. "Help me?" They wondered. "Why yes (Your Name) you have amazing magic but you need to harness and control it." I answered. "You can use magic?" (Your Name) questioned me. I responded using my magic to turn the winter wonderland into a tropical paradise with crystal clear waters, warm sands, and a cruise ship floating in the ocean waters making (Your Name) speechless. "With my teachings and lessons you'll become a excellent magic user." I vowed. "Thank you Dimentio!!" They thanked me as we began practicing.

~Third Person Point of View~  A Month Later

In the backyard of the (Last Name) House we find Dimentio and (Your Name) about to play a game. This game is the Summoning Challenge where magic users summon creatures that are either the same color or start with the same letter. "Okay (Your Name) the card is.... the letter D!!" The Jester spoke as he showed the card to the child. (Your Name) went first and summoned a Dog, Dimentio then summoned a Duck, then They summoned a Dinosaur, and Dimentio won the game by summoning a Dragon. "Awww it's a tie!!" (Your Name) cried out as they tallied up the scoreboard which is (Your Name) 5  and Dimentio 5. "You're getting better at summoning though you'll need to be a bit faster and quicker in your chanting." Dimentio informed his student. "Thank you Dimentio. Can we play again?" They questioned. "Of course I'm quite curious what you'll summon next." He responded as they began playing again. Dimentio knew he  chose the right student,  for a magic user with a huge imagination can be a strong summoner.
