Author's Note: This request is for Pearl Of Blue who wanted a Kamek X Reader one shot. I've decided it'll be a friendship one shot if you're wondering. ~Third Person Point of View~

For Kamek the adviser and right hand Koopa for King Bowser he was tasked with a big mission. What's the mission? To teach a young child the ways of magic, spells, potions, and curses. At first Kamek was against this idea since the child doesn't have the patience or drive to learn but Bowser insisted to teach the child. So Kamek hesitantly agreed though he is starting to regret his decision since the child named (Your Name) is very hyper and devious. 

~Kamek Point of View~

"Okay take out your practice wand we're going to learn basic spells for this lesson." I lectured to the 8 year old child. They obeyed as they took out their wand. "Now the first spell we're learning is the basic levitation spell and the target is this." I spoke as I held out a apple. "That's boring Mr. Kamek I wanna learn how to freeze something or turn my enemies to stone something better than that!!" They complained. I sighed "Look (Your Name) it's important to learn the basics if you try using a strong spell it could backfire and hurt you." I noted making the child wide eyes and scared. "O-Okay Mr. Kamek I understand." They replied and paid attention in silence. "Good now let's begin." I announced. 

~(Your Name) Point of View~ Two Months Later

My progress so far is going well. I've mastered the basic spells, potions, curses, and types of magic. Mr. Kamek is pleased with the results and has begun teaching me some advanced spells though it wasn't easy. One time I tried using a strong fire spell and accidentally burned a bit of Kamek's robe, he was angry and my punishment was to write a 1,000 word essay on magic safety. But other than that with time and dedication I can be a great Magic user like my teacher Mr. Kamek!!
