Author's Note: This request is for XxPrincess_DaisyxX who wanted a Luigi/Mr.L X Mermaid Reader Friendship one shot story!! Luigi/Mr.L share the same body, it's like two souls one body if you're wondering. As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block!! ~Third Person Point of View~

At Cheep Cheep beach we see two figure conversing inside a  cove. One is sitting on the sand telling a story while the other is in the cool ocean waters listening to the storyteller. "You saved your brother Mario from King Boo? That's amazing!!" (Your Name) spoke in amazement. "Y-Yeah but I didn't do it alone E Gadd helped me." Luigi noted to the female. "So true but facing your worse fear all to save Mario now that's true bravery." She complimented the male. "You think so?" Luigi asked. "I know so!!" (Your Name) replied. "U-Um (Your Name)?" The Green Plumber spoke in a uneasy tone. "Yes?" She responded. "C-Can I tell you something?" Luigi asked nervously. "You may." (Your Name) permitted. But before Luigi could tell his Dual Scream went off, he answered it then read the message. "Luigi, The Princess has been captured I need your help bro!! Mario." Luigi read out loud. "I'm sorry (Your Name)." Luigi apologized. "It's fine Luigi so see you later?" (Your Name) suggested. "Yeah... see you later Good Bye!!" Luigi spoke as he left. 

~(Your Name) Point of View~ 

Once Luigi left I frowned and dived into the water.  You see I'm not a human but a mermaid with a (Favorite Color)ed tail and wearing a seashell bra. I didn't have many friends in the ocean, I was a lonely mermaid until I met Luigi the kindest human in my life. Many merpeople said that humans are evil and greedy but Luigi isn't like that!! Though I'm afraid that if I tell Luigi what I really am he might hate me and I would lose my friendship with him. Hopefully I can tell Luigi the truth and maybe he will accept me? I thought with a bit of hope in my heart. 

~Luigi Point of View~ Late at Night After Rescuing Peach

I was laying down on my bed staring at the ceiling trying to fall asleep but I couldn't. What do I do? I thought as I remembered what I was about to tell (Your Name). Tell her the truth the voice responded to my thoughts.  I sighed It's not that easy!! If I tell her the truth (Your Name) would think I'm a freak or insane!! I replied mentally. Just hope for the best, maybe (Your Name) will accept the truth? The voice suggested to me. I hope you're right... Mr.L I thought in reply as I fall asleep. 

~Third Person Point of View~ The Next Day

(Your Name) was patiently waiting for Luigi to arrive but is also very nervous to tell him the truth. She was so lost in her thought that she didn't hear Luigi arriving. "H-Hi (Your Name)." Luigi muttered. "H-Hi Luigi." She muttered her reply. It was quiet in the cove for a few minutes "Can I tell you something?" Luigi and (Your Name) spoke in unison. "O-Oh you first Luigi." (Your Name) stammered. "N-No you first (Your Name)." Luigi stuttered. "O-Okay." She spoke as (Your Name) took a deep breath. "Luigi.. I'm a mermaid." (Your Name) revealed as she showed Luigi her mermaid tail. " A mermaid?" Luigi spoke in a quiet tone making (Your Name) scared. "Wow I'm friends with a mermaid!!" He exclaimed in a excited tone making (Your Name) stunned. But then Luigi stopped and faced (Your Name) "I have something to tell you (Your Name)... please don't freak out." Luigi spoke in a serious tone. "I won't I promise." She vowed as Luigi took a deep breath. "(Your Name).. I have a alter ego named Mr.L." He confessed. The mermaid was confused so Luigi explained how Mr.L came to be as she payed attention. "Can I meet Mr.L?" (Your Name) asked. Luigi at first hesitated but then obeyed and let Mr.L take control.

~Mr.L Point of View~

"Hello (Your Name)." I greeted. I expected (Your Name) to freak out or say bad things about us but what I didn't expect was her to hug me? "Nice to meet you Mr.L!!" She greeted. "Y-You don't hate us?" I spoke. "No I don't hate you or Luigi, I'm just happy that I'm meeting you and that our friendship isn't broken!!" (Your Name) exclaimed in joy as I hugged back.  I cried tears of joy and I can sense Junior in my mind doing the same thing "Thank you, thank you for accepting us!!" I thanked. "Thank you both for accepting me as well!" (Your Name) replied with a smile. Like the saying goes the truth will set you free.
