A Fruit Like Love Yoshi X Reader

Author's Note: This request is for Blue NJ Who wanted a Yoshi X Reader romance one shot. As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. Thank you and enjoy!! Italics: Thoughts Bold: Information

~Third Person Point of View~

At a farm we see (Your Name) harvesting the apples along with her huge family and the farm workers. It's harvesting season as they harvest the many varieties of fruits and vegetables for the local Farmer's Market. Many people far and wide love their produce and their prices are fair yet cheap. From common Toads and Koopa Troopas to Princess Peach and the Mario bros they come to the Farmer's Market to buy the delicious produce. [In Hawaii it's the Farmer's Market but to others it's the Flea Market].

~Your Name Point of View~

While plucking the strawberries I see a familiar dinosaur enter the berry fields. "Hello Yoshi what brings you here?" I asked my best friend. "Oh hey (Your Name) um can you help me with something?" Yoshi asked. "Sure what is it?" I questioned. "Which fruit is the sweetest?" Yoshi spoke. "That's a tough question Yoshi lots of fruits are sweet." I asked to the best of my abilities. "Can you help me find the sweetest fruit?" He suggested. "Okay but we're going to have to taste test them before we make the final decision." I replied as we began searching.

~Third Person Point of View~

Yoshi and (Your Name) set down a basket filled with different fruits and began taste testing each of them. Apples, Bananas, grapes, strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, Pears, Peaches, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, raspberries, cherries, and more they tasted until there's nothing left in the basket. With full bellies they became sleepy and took a nap on the picnic blanket.

~Yoshi Point of View~ One Hour Later

I wake up from my nap to see (Your Name) sleeping peacefully on the picnic blanket. She then woke up and got up "So what's your final decision?" (Your Name) asked. "I think it's a no contest you were right all of the fruits are sweet." I replied. "They are but I think everyone has their own opinions on what is the sweetest fruit." She stated. "But you know what is the sweetest to me?" I said making (Your Name) curious. "It's you (Your Name) for the first time we met I grew to love you very much." I exclaimed.  "You love me?" She spoke. I nodded in response "To me you're sweeter than any fruit in the whole world." I confessed.  (Your Name) was flustered by my words "I love you too Yoshi." She replied as we kissed under the night's sky.
