Author's Note: This request is for Legsssssss who wanted a Lord Crump X X-Naut Reader romance one shot story.  As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. For those of you who don't know Lord Crump or what a X-Naut is Crump is the captain of the X-Naut army and a X-Naut is a lowly grunt. This story takes place during the Crystal Star Fiasco if you're wondering.  I suck with speech patterns. Thank you and enjoy!! Italics: Thoughts Bold: Information/Authoress

~Third Person Point of View~

A lone X-Naut named (Your Name) was helping Lord Crump with building the Magnus Von Grapple, a strong robot with rocket fists and other useful weaponry. Even though (Your Name) is a rookie and a grunt of the army she's a genius with robots and machines. "Can you believe it (Your Name) I'm getting a big mission to grab the emerald star!!" Crump said in excitement. "Where is the emerald star?" (Your Name) asked. "Some place called Boggly Woods." Crump replied as he melded the robot's joints together. [Boggly Woods is the second area to explore. It has the Great Tree where a bug like race called the Punies live inside it]. 

~Your Name Point of View~

"Boggly Woods? I've heard that the place is huge." I said. "Yeah but I can handle it." Crump said as I used a wrench to tighten a loose bolt. "If you say so." I spoke with a blush not knowing Crump also blushes. "Well the robot is ready to go Lord Crump." I said as I crossed my arms. "Thank you (Your Name) but call me Crump for now on since you're my assistant." He announced as I gave him the remote control to summon it. "Y-Yes L-I mean Crump." I stuttered to correct myself. 

~Lord Crump Point of View~

I began testing out Magnus Von Grapple in the training course while (Your Name) was watching from the stands. It was functioning and obeying the commands I imputed with my controls (Your Name) did very well I should thank her somehow.... I thought as I blush.  I got out of the robot and took a break while sitting next to (Your Name). "The robot runs great thank you (Your Name)." I thanked the female.  "You're welcome Crump I hope the robot helps you succeed." (Your Name) replied with hope. "Look whether I succeed or not you're a great mechanic and helper to me and the army." I noted making (Your Name) blush. "R-Really?" She said.

~Third Person Point of View~

"Of course!! Who knows Grodus might even promote you to be a elite X-Naut with your talents." Crump complimented. "You're welcome." (Your Name) said shyly. "Tell you want as a reward how about I treat you to dinner at a cafe tonight?" Crump said with a blush. "Um... sure I'd like to join." (Your Name) replied kindly. "G-Great see you there." Crump says as the two went their separate ways. Little did they know that their teamwork will lead to something more making the two become a dating duo.
