Author's Note: This request is for estela9989 who wanted a Spewbert X Reader Romance one shot story!! To those of you wonder who is Spewbert he's from Super Mario Odyssey and one of the Broodals. Spewbert is the entertainer of the group and spews out poison goop. As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block.  This takes place in a alternate universe so no Wedding Fiasco!! Thank you and enjoy!! ~Third Person Point of View~

In the Steam Gardens of the Wooded Kingdom we find a rabbit like being with orange colored hair looking at the many selections of flowers. This is Spewbert one of the Broodals with a goal on his mind to make a beautiful bouquet for (Your Name). Sure he could go for the traditional red roses or maybe the sunflowers but Spewbert wanted the bouquet to be special and unique.  So he began looking and choosing many flowers of various colors as well as types. From roses and violets to Tulips and Lilies Spewberts began making lots of bouquets. I hope (Your Name) loves these flowers Spwebert thought with hope as he paid for all of them. (It wasn't cheap I tell you!!). 

~Your Name Point of View~

I was waiting patiently at a empty table at the famous Shine Cafe waiting for my date and boyfriend Spewbert. It's our one year anniversary being together but I became worried since he's 30 minutes late!! Which is a big problem since he's never late for our date!! Is he cheating on me? Did he get caught in a accident? Or... did he forget? I thought sadly as I look down. "Sorry I'm late (Your Name) I had to do some last minute tasks to do." A familiar voice said to reveal "Spewbert!!" I cried out in happiness as I hugged the Broodal. Once we settled down we ordered our meals and drinks. 

~Spewbert Point of View~

"Happy Anniversary (Your Name)." I said as a couple of bakers came in with a delicious (Favorite Flavor) cake. While we ate the cake I kept glancing at my cellphone hoping to receive a signal. "You okay Spewbert? You look nervous." (Your Name) spoke in concern. "I'm fine sweetie just hoping I get a text from Topper since he might need help with the next party." I lied but she bought it since I work with my siblings with clients. As we finished our cake we began chatting about today's events when suddenly I got a text It's all set bro!!- Topper I sent a quick reply and smiled knowing that my family has my back. "Hey (Your Name) wanna go home and relax?" I suggested to which she agreed. 

~Third Person Point of View~

The couple walked home to see the place all decked out in lights, balloons, and most surprisingly bouquets full of many flowers. "What is this?" (Your Name) spoke in surprise. Spewbert then got on one knee and presented her with a beautiful ring "(Your Name) (Last Name) will you be my wife and marry me?" He confessed. "Yes yes YES!!" She replied as they kissed. Topper was spying on the two and gave Hariet the signal, to which she set of fireworks for the happy couple.
