"Thank You" Dry Bones X Shy Reader

Author's Note: This request is for ImmortalGhidorah and they wanted a Dry Bones X Shy Reader Friendship one shot story. ~Third Person Point of View~

(Your Name) is a shy and quiet person. They would try to make friends but they have a quiet voice and shy demeanor near others which causes problems in creating friendships. After five years they got used to being alone but sometimes they would hope and wish to have a friend at least one. Someone who would accept them, share the same interests, a friend like no other but unique as well. Little did they know their life is about to change.

~(Your Name) Point of View~

I was busy playing alone with my favorite rubber ball in the park. I got it from my parents one day when we went to the toy store, it's the size of a Baseball and covered in a mushroom pattern. While bouncing the ball on the sidewalk a strong gust of wind blew away my hat I quickly grabbed my ball and chased it. (If you don't have a hat just pretend). As I followed the hat it landed inside Boo Woods which made me shiver in fear for I've heard of what they can do. I tried to find in when I entered the haunted woods but then I became lost, to make matters worse a Boo appeared and was about to attack me. I screamed in fear and closed my eyes hoping that someone can save me.

~Third Person Point of View~

Before the Boo could harm (Your Name) a strange white blur grabbed the child and took them outside of the woods safely. The rescuer placed (Your Name) down and gently hugged them, they slowly opened their eyes and was in shock that a Dry Bones saved them!! "Y-You saved me?" They spoke in a quiet voice to which Dry Bones nodded. (Your Name) smiled "T-Thank you." They spoke but then realized that something is missing. "Oh No my hat!!" (Your Name) exclaimed as they were close to crying again. The Dry Bones then took something out of it's shell which was a (Favorite Color) hat. "T-That's my hat!! Thank you very much!!" They thanked to which the Dry Bones smiled making the child happy. After that day (Your Name) and Dry Bones became best friends, sure it was kinda difficult understanding each other but like the saying goes Actions speak louder than words.
