Author's Note: This request is for Nintend0. Who wanted a Romance Halloween one shot with the Bat King Antasma!! As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. Thank you and enjoy!! Happy Halloween!! ~Third Person Point of View~

For many years the Bat King Antasma never had a friend or someone to talk to. He was the king of nightmares and bats, whenever he visits someone in their sleep he unintentionally causes nightmares. Not to mention many Toads and people are afraid of bats so that's a downside for Antasma. But out of everyone there's a lone young woman who found him most... Interesting. Her name is (Your Name) and unlike most people she doesn't see Antasma as a monster but a lonely person.

~Antasma Point of View~

Out of all the citizens in the Mushroom Kingdom only one person isn't afraid of the nightmares I cause. This young woman with (Hair Length) (Hair Color)ed hair actually enjoys the nightmares!! I became more curious to know her and the only way for me to find out is by looking in her dreams. I entered her dream cloud and to my surprise I see her looking around a haunted mansion without fear but amusement? Either she's fearless or very dense to not know fear I thought. But then ours eyes met and I couldn't help but freeze in place seeing her beautiful (Eye Color) eyes. 

~Your Name Point of View~

"Hello Antasma nice to finally meet you in person even though it's in my nightmare." I spoke. Antasma was surprised that I know his name but he shook his head and spoke. "Yes I'm the Bat King and the King of Nightmares Antasma!! What is your name?" He asked me to which I replied. "I'm (Your Name) and I've got to say that I'm not afraid of you." I finished making Antasma jaw dropped in surprise. "YOU'RE NOT AFRAID OF ME?!?" He said "Then how about now?!?" He replied as he tried to make me scream using his nightmare abilities. After at least 20 attempts to make me scream he gave up "H-How come you're not afraid or screaming?" Antasma questioned me.

~Third Person Point of View~

(Your Name) moved closer to the bat king and lifted his chin up to see his face. "You may be scary and make horrifying nightmares, but as I looked into your eyes I see a lonely person who hasn't experienced friendship or love." She said with a soft tone. Antasma was speechless. "I've known for a long time that you've been giving me nightmares and I started to conquer my fears thanks to you." (Your Name) said. Antasma blushed at the compliment "Well the reason I kept giving you nightmares is.... because.... I-I love you." He stated making (Your Name) blush as the nightmare disappears and makes a beautiful starry night sky. (Your Name) faced the Bat King and held his hand "I love you too and together we're not lonely anymore." She smiled as for the first time in a long while (Your Name) finally got a sweet dream.
