Author's Note: This request is for Billy387 who wanted a Shadow Queen X Male Reader. But I'm making the Male Reader a shadow like being. As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block!! This takes place in a alternate universe!! Thank you and enjoy!! ~Third Person Point of View~

We take a look in the Palace of Shadows where many citizens of the shadows lived and thrived. Deep within the ruler of darkness and shadows the Shadow Queen resides on her throne wondering what's happening in her kingdom. Sure she could go out and see the world but the Shadow Queen has many responsibilities regarding her people's well being. Though there is one person who would often visit her royal darkness, a shadowed male named (Your Name). Unlike most of the shadow beings (Your Name) would venture out of the kingdom to see and experience the outside world. "Your Majesty (Your Name) is here." A servant announced. "Hello Shadow Queen." He greeted. "Hello (Your Name) it's good to see you again." Shadow Queen spoke with a smile on her face. 

~Shadow Queen Point of View~

"What stories will you be telling me today?" I questioned the male shadow. As (Your Name) began telling me more of the outside world I began picturing many things in my mind. Beautiful plants of various colors, crystal like waters, a endless sky full of stars, and many places full of life. Sometimes during his storytelling (Your Name) would show me different things from the outside world like grass, fruit, flowers, even some interesting objects like a scarf. "During my exploring I've found a unique object." He spoke making me curious. "Please tell." I kindly ask. He placed the object in my hand, when I opened my hand it showed a circular object topped with a sparkling gem. "What this object my queen is what humans called a ring." (Your Name) informed. "A ring?" I questioned with wonder. "What does this 'ring' do?" I wondered. 

~Your Name Point of View~

"This object is a symbol of affection, trust, and a symbol of love as well as marriage." I replied as a blush appeared on my face. "L-Love?!?" The Shadow Queen stammered in shock. I nodded in reply "I've watched many humans offer their loved ones a ring as they propose to their significant someone." I informed. "How does one get a ring? Much less propose?" She pondered. I asked for the ring back to which my queen returned "Let me demonstrate your majesty." I said to which my queen gestured to begin. I got down in front of her and opened my hand to present the ring to her "Shadow Queen ruler of the darkness and shadows will you marry me? We can bring peace and happiness to the kingdom as well as it's citizens." I proposed making her speechless. "That concludes my demonstration." I spoke and got up. As I was about to leave the Shadow Queen surprised me "Yes (Your Name) I will marry you." She confessed making me speechless. "W-What?!?" I stuttered. "I accept your proposal as well as the ring." The Shadow Queen responded with a bright smile as well as a big blush. I smiled then fitted the ring on her finger "Then may our kingdom and love prosper." I announced as we kissed.
