Author's Note: This request is for CountThePotato who wanted a Koops X Reader Fluff/Friendship one shot. For those of you who don't know who Koops is he's a Koopa Troopa partner in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block. ~Third Person Point of View~

It's a beautiful day in Petalburg [Thousand Year Door]  the birds are singing, butterflies fluttering, and the sun shining brightly. But for one Koopa Troopa he's sweating up a storm from nervousness and worry. Why? He's stressed wanting to propose to his girlfriend Koopie Koo but lacks confidence and is very timid. His name is Koops one of the Heroes who helped Mario defeat the Shadow Queen. Koops kept pacing back and forth outside waiting for a certain someone, hoping to get advice and tips for the big decision.

~Koops Point of View~

Please come back Please come back!! I thought anxiously.  What felt like hours but was actually half an hour (Your Name) arrived.  "(Your Name) I need your help Please????" I asked no demanded. "Koops calm down and tell me what you want slowly." (Your Name) replied. I then told her that I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend of two years Koopie Koo. "That's a sweet idea!! Did you get her a ring?" She asked me. I nodded and showed her the engagement ring which is a silver ring with a diamond shaped like a Luma. "I was wondering if you could give me advice and ideas on how to make the moment special." I spoke. 

~Your Name Point of View~

I thought about it for a moment and then remembered that I won two tickets to Pi'illo Island. I smiled "Hey Koops here for you and Koopie Koo think of it as a early wedding gift." I said giving the tickets. Koops was stunned as his eyes widen "Pi'illo Island?!? I don't know what to say...." Koops said with tears in his eyes. "Don't worry about it Koops you have a beautiful girlfriend, a pretty ring, and the perfect place to propose." I spoke "Besides all you need to do is just ask her the question, I can always buy a ticket for myself whenever I want." I finished speaking.  I got a big hug in response "Thank You (Your Name) for helping me and giving me confidence!! I'll repay you somehow!!" He said. "No need Koops that's what friends are for, helping and supporting others." I said. 

~Third Person Point of View~ One Month Later

We see Koops and Koopie Koo going to a nice spot for a picnic as they hold each others hands. But what caught our eyes is they're wearing their wedding rings as they sat down and enjoy their moment together.
