Cosplay!! Mr.L X Reader

Author's Note: This request is for Dark-Rosey who wanted a Mr.L X Reader Romance One Shot story!! As usual this one shot might be short due to lack of ideas and possible writer's block!! This takes place in a alternate universe as Mr.L is separate from Luigi and is Mario and Luigi's brother. Thank you and enjoy!! Italics: Thoughts Bold: Information/Authoress

~Third Person Point of View~

Mr.L questions many things in life from basic questions like why is the sky blue, why isn't the weatherman accurate, and many others. When he saw (Your Name) bringing out a trunk full of different yet weird outfits, Mr.L couldn't help but question his best friend/crush. "What are you doing?" He asked. "For your information L this trunk is filled with different costumes I've made, why am I doing this? Well I'm getting ready for the annual Cosplay competition!!" (Your Name) replied as she took out different outfits. "Cosplay? What's that?" Mr.L spoke in confusion. 

~Your Name Point of View~

"It's when a person dresses up as their favorite character." I responded. "I often make costumes as a hobby." Mr.L looked at my costumes in awe and wonder. "You made these yourself? They're amazing!!" He complimented. "Why thank you L hey do you want to join me in cosplaying? There's a Team Cosplay category." I suggested to which Mr.L agreed, for the past few days we were working on our costumes for the competition. Sure it took a lot of trial and error to make our costumes perfect which in the end we completed them. We dressed up as our (Favorite Characters) from (Favorite Anime/Manga/ Movie/ Video Game/ TV Show). After paying the entry fee and signing up we made our way to the Cosplay Competition. (Example: You/Princess Mr.L/Prince).

~Mr.L Point of View~

The competition was underway as I along with (Your Name) watched the many contestants go up. I was becoming very nervous as I've never been in a competition before in my entire life!! Not only that I planned a special something for my best friend who I hoped will say yes. "Mr.L no matter if we win or lose we're here to have fun together right?" (Your Name) said. I smiled then nodded "Right!!" I replied. As the line became smaller and the judges rated the contestants it's (Your Name) and I's turn. "Gives a round of applause for Mr.L and (Your Name)!!" The MC announced as we went onstage to pose while the crowd cheered. But as (Your Name) waved to the crowd I held her hands and began speaking. "(Your Name) will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?" I questioned. Making the crowd gasp and become quiet, on the outside I looked calm while on the inside I was panicking. 

~Third Person Point of View~

Silence roamed the contest hall as many onlookers crossed their fingers hoping (Your Name) will choose yes. Mr.L was becoming scared and nervous fearing (Your Name) will say no, for the green thunder feared being stuck in the friendzone. But one voice broke away those fears and doubts in Mr.L's mind "Yes L I would love to be yours." She replied making Mr.L smile as the crowd went wild with cheers. Mr.L then wrapped (Your Name) in his embrace and kissed her lips ignoring the fact that they won the contest.
