Being alone in the woods had never been a frightening thing for me because I had always known someone was looking out for me. But in this nightmare a fear, similar to the one I felt when the Volturi had wanted me dead, found me. It left me numb and useless – or at least completely helpless.

The wind shifted and his smell found me – Aro was there. "Sweet Renesmee. What a joy it is to see you all grown up."

I spun around, staring at him. "Hello Aro. What are you doing here?" my voice was icy.

His laughter was nauseating, "My brother needed a pet. He's been feeling a little lonely lately and I thought a new mutt would cheer him up."

Jacob.

My heart beat frantically, "Stay away from them Aro."

"Oh my dear, it is far too late," he snickered, "I just need one more thing."

"What?"

A hiss formed in his throat and he slouched down, "You."

The vision of Aro tackling me, faded into reality. My parents' voices were around me but I couldn't seem to comprehend their words. My sleepy haze was almost painful to wake up from. Gripping my head in pain, I tried to make sense of the world around me. It was far too bright to be back in my room and my body was crammed in an awkward position.

"Where are we?"

As I sat up I absorbed my surroundings. I was in the back of Father's car and we were at the airport, "But I never got to say goodbye." My family, the pack, Grandpa Charlie, and Billy – I needed to say goodbye. Make sure they knew how much they mean to me and how grateful I am for all they've done in my life. A tear spilled over.

"We will be with them again soon. A goodbye is hardly needed for such a small trip." Mom attempted to calm me down but it was a worthless attempt. Nothing would make me feel better.

"Your mother is right. We will be together soon enough," Father added.

The plane to Maine was abnormally painful and I regretted not eating before we left. The burning in my throat was scorching. It was all I could think about. The beat of everyone's heart sending their thick blood rushing through their veins was far too much of a temptation. I stiffened in my chair as saliva filled my mouth. At that point, Father quickly spun Mom around and forced his lips to hers. My thoughts and thirst vanished at the sight and I was left with nothing but disgust and a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Get a room."

They ignored me.

"I'm so sorry Bella. I should have gone hunting with you, I forget that you are still young and can't resist the temptation as easily in such proximities. You would have thought I had learned from our last trip." He smirked at Mom and she playfully grimaced back.

"I'll be fine but as soon as we land, I want food," as she spoke the stewardess walked past.

"We have many items to choose from if you would like a menu."

"No, no I can wait but thank you miss." Mom smiled at her as she walked away with a smile on her face and her rich blood flowed to her cheeks. The smell was tempting and painful but I couldn't even imagine the pain my mom was in.

The sun peeked out through the clouds and flooded in through the small window, forcing me to quickly shut the plastic cover. Even though I didn't sparkle like Father and Mom, I still glowed beautifully and didn't enjoy the attention it received.
