Jacob and I ran for almost three more days until we came to a small village. We were on our way to meet my dad and the other Cullens at the airport. They gave Jacob money to meet them there. Alice had seen that Jacob was going to find me or had seen me completely disappear and assumed it was Jacob. Jacob informed me that Edward wanted to stay but when he did, Alice said Rosalie would have been captured.

There was a little hotel at the edge of town and I needed a shower desperately. The room was tiny and it only had a single – very small – bed. I took my shower first, the hot water ran down me and seemed to relax every muscle in my body. I took longer than needed but I didn't want to get out, it was so peaceful.

Jacob knocked on the door, "You okay in there? It's been an hour Ness!" He shouted through the door.

I turned off the hot water and wrapped a towel around myself, "Sorry, Jake!" I laughed a little as I yelled back so he could hear me through the wall. "I didn't realize."

I opened the door and walked out. Jacob had his back turned to me, he was folding cloths. "You," as he turned around his eyes widened, "Umm," he struggled for his words, "You didn't have to get out, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." His voice cracked twice.

I smiled and pointed to the pile of folded cloths in his hand, "What are those?" I questioned.

He shook his head, "Oh," he looked down, "I asked the lady at the desk to get you fresh clothes." He smiled and handed them to me, "It's amazing what you can get people to do with a little money." I smiled and he walked into the bathroom for his shower.

The woman had gotten me a pair of grey sweats and a red T-shirt that was too small with a different language written on it. I was thankful that she had also remembered fresh underwear. I put on the new cloths and laid on the tiny bed. It was nice to be out of the experiment clothes Aro had been providing me with. It was a mark and constant reminder of the pain. I turned on the radio but couldn't understand very much, I just enjoyed the noise. The shower went silent and after awhile Jacob walked out with a towel around his waist.

His body was breath taking; I couldn't look away from him. He smiled at me, "Sorry, I forgot my cloths out here." I looked at him, completely dazed. He looked at me curious and smiled, "What?"

"You're so...Wow!." I blushed after I realized what I had said. He walked over and kissed me on the forehead, shaking his head in disagreement. He snatched up his cloths and disappeared into the bathroom. I watched him, amazed at his perfection.

When he came out again, he was wearing black sweats and pulling a large blue shirt over his chiseled chest. "Let's go out and get some dinner," he was asking but it was more of a command. "Like real civilized human beings." He added, "I want some real Italian pizza."

I laughed as he pulled me to my feet. I didn't want to walk anymore tonight but he was so happy that I couldn't let him down. When we made it to the front lobby I jumped on his back and wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He let out a booming laugh and grabbed my thighs to keep me up. The woman at the desk smiled at us and waved goodbye. We both flashed her warm smiles.

"So, where to now?" I questioned into Jacob's ear.

"I saw a pizza place when we were coming into the town and it smelt mouth watering."

I laughed.

He picked up his pace and we were there very quickly. I slid down his back to the ground and Jacob scooped up my hand as we walked through the wooden doors. A very pretty woman seated us and Jacob ordered a huge pizza.
