The daylight bled through the sky with the rising of the sun. I looked out upon the rich greens and blues of the ocean. The white, ruffled waves broke against the sand and melted to my toes. I curled my legs to my torso and slowly wrapped my arms around them. A pain deep in my chest burned with the fury of hell.

The clouds once again took over the sky, blinding the new sun. The salty sea air glided over my bare skin, I took in a deep breath at an attempt to clear my head. Their memories still blazed in my mind as I closed my eyes, relaxing against a large piece of driftwood. My thoughts of Nahuel and Jacob faded into a distorted dream.

I was standing alone in the deep forest of Forks, with only the crisp sounds of nature to comfort me. Sounds of bugs searching through the maze of leaves, a small animal concealed in the bushes near by, even the hums of the birds fluttering overhead filled my ears. The day fell and all the life with it. Darkness took over as my knees buckled beneath me. My head fell and I was looking at the ground, my hands were covered in a rich blood that smelt sweet. I brought my hands to my lips letting the thick liquid sooth the burning deep inside me.

Slowly, I stood erect and let my eyes wander upward, Jacob was laying before me. His mocha skin was creamy without life. I inched my way to him letting the tears fill my eyes and over take my cheeks. Guilt and shame fluttered through me as I collapsed once again to my knees. I rested my head against his still chest; his once over heated body was ice-cold. Unconsciously my fingers ran over his face tracing his lips down to his jaw line. A hand rested on my shoulder, I leaped into a defiance position and let out a chilling hiss.

The sight before me was blurred by tears that had glossed over my eyes. The dream I was lost in faded into reality. Nahuel stood before me with his hands up, "I'm sorry I scared you but I need to talk to you."

"Don't do this to me." My voice was calm and gentle but I let the pain be known as I took a step back. "I told you I don't know."

His gaze fell, "Know I love you..."

I turned and walked away from his piercing comment. The soft breeze shifted to the north and I could smell them. The thick scents of Aro and Jane lingered heavy in the air. I dipped back down into my defiance position except this time Nahuel fallowed.

"Renesmee my dear, I came only to help you." Aro appeared from the fog that had invaded the beach. "Come to me, I promise..." His words drifted off, I hesitated but I straightened up and walked over to his side. He reached out and put his hand on my back, pulling me into his cold hard chest. "I have missed you little one." He touched my cheek and slowly ran through my memories focusing everything he could find about Jacob and Nahuel that I had ever thought, ever felt. "Thank you Renesmee." I was confused by his action and a little frustrated that he just took what he wanted without asking.

Aro turned his attention to Nahuel. "You see I owe this young lady a very big favor. Nahuel, sadly it over powers our deal." He took a step closer to Nahuel, his son. Yet I didn't understand what he meant, or what he was doing.

Nahuel stepped away, "I know what you are doing and this would only crush her more."

Aro laughed with disgust, "If only you knew. I have seen her thoughts and what you have done to her is unforgivable." With Aro's last word Nahuel fell to the ground, Jane's face lit up and I then understood.

"Leave him alone, no more death is needed on my behalf. Please Aro, let him go in peace." Aro nodded his head and gestured towards Jane.

Nahuel was freed from the pain, as he blinked away the shock he whispered, "I love you forever." He stood to his feet and ran away without looking back.
