"I don't think there is really anything we are able to use with your memories." Grandpa was puzzled but not frustrated.

"I'm sorry. I really wish I could do more to help you find him." I hated that I was so useless.

"You are not useless Renesmee. Please stop thinking so poorly of yourself." For the first time in much too long Dad was beginning to sound like my real father.

"Lets get moving. The Volturi could be here at any time." Alice was very uneasy with Jacob and I around.

"Okay Alice, lets start in South America, where Nahuel was born." Grandpa suggested.

Alice smiled at Grandpa and we all began to head towards the car. My leg still ached but I didn't let any one know my pain. I tried my hardest to keep up but it became too much. I had to stop and take a break. When Jacob and my family were not paying attention, I stopped my slow run and stood only on my good leg.

"Nessie!" Jacob had turned around and sprinted to my side. "I knew you weren't okay!"

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine, I just need to rest for a little bit." I smiled up at him knowing the pain was still shining through my expression.

"Well either way you're not walking on it anymore." His eyes were wide and he looked very sincere.

"Well I'm not going to make you carry me around everywhere so yes I will be walking on it." I smiled and laughed a little at his reaction. "I'm sorry if you don't like that." I began to run away from Jacob, we had become too far away from the family and needed to catch up.

"You are so stubborn sometimes." He laughed as he swept me up into his arms and tossed me over one of his shoulders.

"Hey! This isn't fair! Let me down Jake!" I kicked and tried to squirm my way out but he had a tight grip around my legs and I couldn't get loose. "Fine! You win!" I collapsed over his shoulder.

"I always do!" Jacob laughed at me as I let my body go completely limp with my dead weight.

"Hurry up you two!" The family was already at the car and Mom was getting a little impatient with us. Jacob started in a full sprint but this time I didn't try to get away from him. I flipped myself onto his back, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

We were tossed into the very back seat with Emmet.

The drive to the airport was much more pleasant. The family was back together and even though not everyone had their memories, it felt right - almost normal again. I was happy, truly happy.

When we got to the airport I began to get extremely tired. I didn't want to get on another plane today and fly for hours and hours to the other side of the world but I would if it meant that everything could go back to the way it was before I caused so many problems.

I had never been to South America and I was excited to see the land and the culture but something inside me seemed to darken my spirits. The memories of my human family began to taunt me with questions and worries but I could do nothing about it.

I was interrupted by Jacob, "Ness you look like you're about to pass out. How can you be so tired all the time, you're part vampire?"

I laughed at him and looked up to him with my big tired eyes.

He placed his hand on my cheek. "You are so beautiful."

I couldn't help but blush and release a small giggle. "Where did that come from?"

"I'm just speaking the truth."

I hid my face in my hands as my blush began to deepen. "Stop saying that." I smiled but still didn't look up at him. I didn't know why but I felt extremely embarrassed.
