Lisa Goes Fishing

Lisa was going fishing. She got her fishing pole, bait, and boots. She got in her car and headed to the lake to go fishing. The weather outside was just gorgeous. A nice gentle breeze.

Lisa arrived at the lake. She got her pole and bait out. For bait, she used cheese. She didn't like worms. Worms creeped her out. She put the cheese on the hook, and waited for a bite.

Lisa was waiting and waiting. 10 minutes have passed by. Nothing. "Where are the fish?" said Lisa annoyed. "This is so stupid."

Just then a boy came up to Lisa. "What are you doing?" asked the boy.

"I am trying to fish if you don't mind," said Lisa. "Go away before you scare the fish."

"Too bad you haven't caught any so far," said the boy. "My dad has caught a lot of fish so far!"

Lisa looked at the boy's father and saw that he caught a lot of fish. "Unbelievable!" she said. "How does he do it? Well two can play at that game!"

Lisa finally got a bite. She tried ever so hard to reel in her catch. But no such luck. The fish got away. "You stupid fish!" Lisa snarled clenching her teeth.

"Tough luck, lady!" chuckled the boy's father. "Maybe next time eh?"

"Yeah I guess you're right," sighed Lisa defeated. "I must say that you caught a lot of fish though. That's so impressive!"  :)

"Ha ha thanks!" chuckled the man. "My name is Chuck by the way. What's yours?"  :)

"It's Lisa!" she said.

"Nice to meet you, Lisa!" said Chuck. "This here is my son Rudy."

"Hi there, Rudy!" said Lisa smiling.

"Hi, Lisa!" said Rudy. "You'll catch some fish next time!"

"Yep I will!" said Lisa. "I'll see you fellas later! Nice meeting you!"  :)

"Back at ya!" chuckled Chuck. "What say we exchange numbers so we can keep in touch?"

"Sure thing!" said Lisa. And so they both exchanged numbers.

"Take care now!" said Chuck.

"You too, dude!" said Lisa.
