A Trip To Spain

Jonathan was getting excited for his trip to Spain. He was learning Spanish. He knew some words like hola, adios, amigo, cato, perro, and casa. He was going to Spain because he was in the foreign exchange program at his school. A foreign exchange student by the name of Francisco Colon was gonna be staying at his house while he was in Spain.

"You ready for your trip to Spain tomorrow, Jonathan?" asked his mom.

"Si, mami!" said Jonathan. "That means yes mom in Spanish."

"You have been learning a lot haven't you?" said his dad amazed.

"Si, papi!" said Jonathan. "I am gonna love Madrid!"  :)

"Be sure to get a lot of sleep tonight so you can be ready for your trip," said his mom. "I am gonna miss you, my special guy."

"Mom I will be okay," said Jonathan. "Nothing bad is gonna happen to me I promise."

Next day...

Jonathan got up early so he wouldn't miss his flight to Spain. He did what he had to do and his parents drove him to the airport. "Bye, son we'll miss you!" said his mom.

"I'll miss you too, Mom!" said Jonathan. "It's only for a few days."  :)

"Be safe son!" said his dad. And so they watched Jonathan board the plane to Spain. The plane took off and was on it's way to Madrid.
