Being So Kind

Ruth was in the park, reading a book. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Bright sunshine penetrated the sky all around. A nice gentle breeze was blowing making it feel even more pleasant to be outside.

Just then, Ruth heard the sound of a cat meowing. She discovered a stray cat wandering around. The cat walked towards her, meowing.

"Hello!" said Ruth. She petted him. He started purring.

"Where is your owner?" asked Ruth. The cat meowed sadly. "I'm guessing your owner abandoned you, huh? The nerve of some people! What you need is a good home!"

The cat meowed happily. Ruth motioned for the cat to follow her to her car. "Get in, buddy!" said Ruth. The cat got in the front seat, and Ruth got in and drove the cat home.

Ruth arrived at her house. The cat got out of the car. He meowed happily. "Welcome to your new home!" said Ruth. "I will feed you, and take good care of you!"

Ruth had to go to the supermarket real quick to get some cat food for the cat. He was very hungry. "Sit tight, buddy!" said Ruth. "I'm gonna get you some food!"

The cat meowed worriedly. "Aw don't worry, buddy," said Ruth, softly. "I'll be back. No one is gonna hurt you, okay? I promise. You're safe here, now. I promise."

The cat meowed calmly. Ruth quickly went to the supermarket to get some cat food, and milk for her cat. She arrived at the supermarket, and got cat food, and milk. She went to the check out aisle, and paid for her things.

Ruth hurried back home, and fed her cat. "Here kitty!" said Ruth. "Dinner time!"

The cat went to the bowl of cat food that Ruth placed for him. Ruth was getting hungry herself, so she ordered a large cheese pizza from Pizza Hut. And she also ordered a Mountain Dew. The cat was now safe with Ruth.
