Vacation In North Carolina

Jonathan and his friends Richard, Alfred, and Fernando were on vacation in North Carolina. They came all the way from Connecticut. They were staying at the Luxury Inn in Nags Head. They were gonna go surfboarding on the beach. They were outside in the hot sun. A lot of people were flying kites, and spending time in the water.

"This is what I call a vacation!" beamed Jonathan. "Having fun, fellas?"

"You bet, man!" said Richard.

"For sure, dude!" said Alfred, giving a thumbs up.

"This is the life!" said Fernando. "Seen any women yet?"

"Fernando, what is with you and women?" asked Richard. "We came here to North Carolina to have some fun! Not go girl hunting!"

"I want to see some ladies!" said Fernando. "I see one!" And Fernando came walking towards a cute blonde girl, reading a book.

"Hey, babe!" said Fernando.

"Hi!" smiled the girl.

"Nice day to go to the beach, huh?" chuckled Fernando.

"Yes it is," replied the girl. "Great way to cool off on a hot summer day."

"My name is Fernando!" he said. "What's your name, pretty lady?"

"My name is Rosemary!" said the girl. "Where are you from?"

"Connecticut!" replied Fernando. "But I am originally from Colombia. How about you?"

"I am from Virginia!" said Rosemary. "Richmond, Virginia. And I really dig your Spanish accent!"

"Muchos gracias!" exclaimed Fernando. "I used to live in Virginia, before I moved to Connecticut. I used to live in Fairfax, Virginia."

"That's so cool!" said Rosemary. "Did you remember to bring any sunscreen?"

"Oh no I forgot!" said Fernando, doing a facepalm.

"You silly dude!" giggled Rosemary. "Here, let me put some of my sunscreen on you. I don't want you getting a sunburn."

"Gracias!" said Fernando. And so Rosemary applied some sunscreen on Fernando. The rest of the guys were extremely jealous.
