Amanda was with her friend, Joel. They were at IHOP eating breakfast. Amanda was eating pancakes, and Joel was eating waffles. IHOP wasn't really that packed.

"How are the pancakes, Amanda?" asked Joel.

"They're good, okay?!" snapped Amanda. "Dang!"

"I just asked you a question," said Joel. "No need to get an attitude. Chill out."

"Whatever," scoffed Amanda, rolling her eyes.

"So, you gonna watch the Super Bowl?" asked Joel.

"No!" snarled Amanda. "Jeez!"

"Amanda, stop!" demanded Joel. "Why are you getting an attitude for? Why you getting all snippy for?"

"None of your business," said Amanda. Maybe I just feel like having an attitude. Got a problem with that?"

"Sure do," replied Joel. "I don't like the way you're talking to me."

"Boo hoo!" mocked Amanda. "You don't like the way I talk, go talk to someone else."

"Amanda, what's eating you?" inquired Joel.

"Nothing, okay?" hissed Amanda.

"There is something wrong with you, Amanda," said Joel. "Don't lie to me."

"I'm not lying, okay?!" screamed Amanda. "I just feel like having a bad attitude.

"Okay fine," sighed Joel. "Be that way. And he continued eating his breakfast, ignoring Amanda.
