Discovering Wattpad

Paul was on the computer just surfing the internet. He then discovered this website called Wattpad. He was amazed at all the books that were on there.

"Maybe I should become a writer," said Paul. "I've always wanted to show my creative side. I wonder what my friends will say?"

Paul thought about this for a minute. He didn't have a notebook. He needed one so he can write down his ideas for a story. Paul found out that Wattpad was for people ages 13 and up. He was 16. He walked to the Dollar Tree to buy a notebook and pen. He paid for his stuff and went back home.

His friend Amy came over to pay him a visit. "Hi, Paul!" said Amy cheerfully. "What's up, buddy?"  :)

"Hi, Amy!" said Paul. "I just discovered this amazing website called Wattpad. People read and write stories on there. And I want to write a story of my own."

"Oh my gosh that is so cool!" exclaimed Amy. "Do you have any idea what you want to write about?"

"Not sure," said Paul.

"You need help?" asked Amy.

"Sure!" said Paul.

"Okay how about writing about a man that won the lottery and quit his job?" suggested Amy. "His name can be George. And since he won the lottery, he is stinking rich."

"Yeah I like that idea!" said Paul. "Do you know anyone by the name of George?"

"No the name just came to me randomly," said Amy. "And his wife's name can be Rosie."

"Okay cool!" said Paul writing everything down in his notebook.

"Anything else you need help with?" asked Amy?

"No I can take it from here," said Paul. "Thanks for helping me though!"  :)

"No problem, man!" said Amy. "Always glad to help a buddy out."  :)

And so Paul gathered more ideas and made up more characters. He then created a Wattpad account. His username was bossman390. He came up with a good title for his story. It was called Quitting My Day Job.
