Karina was leaving school now. She got on the bus to go home. As soon as she sat down, she started covering her ears again. Adrian sat next to her. "This again?" asked Adrian.

"What's wrong, Adrian?" asked Karina.

"You're covering your ears again, that's what's wrong," complained Adrian. "Want me to tell the bus driver?"

"You leave me alone, Adrian!" said Karina. "They're my ears, and I can do whatever I want with them."

"Adrian, leave Karina alone!" said Molly.

"She needs to stop covering her ears, Molly," explained Adrian.

"No she doesn't," said Molly. "It's okay, Karina. Cover your ears as much as you want. Don't listen to Adrian or the bus driver."

"Thanks, Molly!" smiled Karina. "You're the best!"

"Don't mention it, buddy!" chuckled Molly.

"Why are you on her side for?" asked Adrian. "She is being a weirdo."

"Back off, Adrian!" snapped Molly. "She's probably sensitive to certain noises."

"What noises?" scoffed Adrian. "Nothing loud going on at all. Karina is just making a fool of herself."

"Be quiet, Adrian," said Molly. "Leave Karina alone."

"Get those hands off those ears, Karina!" demanded the bus driver. "Want me to tell your father?"

"You be quiet too, bus driver!" snapped Molly. "Leave Karina alone, both of you!"

The bus driver just snorted and kept his mouth shut. He was now at Karina's house, dropping her off. "Where's your father?" asked the bus driver. "I need to speak to him."

"Why?" asked Karina.

"Cause you wouldn't stop covering your ears," said the bus driver.

"You're not telling him nothing!" barked Molly. "Keep on driving, Sir!"

"The bus driver did what he was told. Molly waved at Karina, and she waved back. She stepped in her house when her dad greeted her.

"Hi, princess!" said her dad. "How was school today?"

"It was okay, Daddy," replied Karina.

"Good to hear, sweetheart," said her dad. Karina was glad to be off the bus, so she wouldn't have to deal with Adrian, or the bus driver.
