Party Time

Patrick was having a party for his buddies. It was a dance party. He ordered pizzas, bought chips, cookies, sodas, and water. His buddies, Keith, Jackie, Andre, and Charlotte were on their way.

The doorbell rang. It was Keith. "Hey, Keith!" said Patrick. "Come on in! Pizza's here!"

"Sup, Patrick!" said Keith. "Where's the music?"

"Let me turn on the radio," said Patrick. He put in a Keith Sweat cd. The song Nobody was playing.

"I remember this song!" said Keith. "This is from 1996!"

"Yes it is!" said Patrick. "Good times!" The doorbell rang and it was Jackie.

"Hey, Patrick!" said Jackie. "Oh my gosh! You got Keith Sweat! He's a good dude! I like him!"  😍😍😍😍

"Yeah he's all right!" chuckled Patrick. "Help yourself to some pizza!"

Jackie got herself a slice of pepperoni pizza and a can of Cherry Coke. "What up, Keith?" she said.

"Not much!" said Keith. "You know this song?"

"Yeah with Athena Cage!" said Jackie. "Came out in 1997 right?"

"No it was 1996," said Keith.

"Oh okay," said Jackie. Then Charlotte, and Andre were the last ones to arrive.

"Do I hear Keith Sweat?" asked Andre.

"That's right, homie!" said Patrick.

"Old school right here!" said Charlotte. "It's like the 90s all over again!"

"You got that right!" said Jackie. Then the song I Love Your Smile by Shanice was playing.

"I remember this song!" said Keith. "This is from 1991."

"I miss the 90s," sighed Charlotte.

"Me too," said Andre.

After everyone was done eating, they started dancing to the music. The song Never Gonna Get It by En Vogue was playing.

"This one is from 1992," said Keith.

Then another song was playing. This time, it was Sorry Ms Jackson by Outkast.

"This one is from 2000," said Keith.

Everyone was having a blast. This was the best dance party that Patrick ever hosted.
