Andrew was outside getting some fresh air. It was such a lovely day to do that. The sun was out in full force. He was near this playground where a lot of kids like to play.
"Andrew, get over here!" screamed his friend, Olivia.
"Why are you screaming at me?" asked Andrew.
"Because I feel like it!" screamed Olivia. "You got a problem with that?! Huh?! Do ya?! Answer me!!"
"Can you please stop screaming?" said Andrew. "That really bothers me."
"I can scream at you if I want to," said Olivia. "SO GET USED TO IT!!!!!"
"I don't really think it's necessary," said Andrew. "You never screamed at me before. So why are you doing it now?"
"JUST BECAUSE!" screamed Olivia. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!'
"Olivia, cut it out!" demanded Andrew.
"NEVER!" bellowed Olivia. "I am gonna scream at you from now on!"
"No you won't," said Andrew.
"Yes I will!" said Olivia.
"Not gonna happen," said Andrew.
"Shut up!" screamed Olivia.
"Don't ever tell me to shut up again!" snapped Andrew. "That's not nice!"
"I SAID SHUT UP!!" Olivia screamed at the top of her lungs.
"I gotta go," said Andrew.
"Don't you walk away from me, Andrew!" snarled Olivia. "Where do you think you're going? Huh? ANSWER ME! I'M TALKING TO YOU!"
Andrew ignored Olivia, and went back home. He could not understand why she was screaming at him. It was totally unnecessary. Andrew ran into his other friend, Jared.
"Sup, dude?" asked Jared.
"Olivia was screaming at me," said Andrew.
"Why?" asked Jared.
"Cause she felt like it," replied Andrew. "She said she is gonna scream at me from now on."
"No she's not," said Jared. "You should tell her parents."
"Okay," said Andrew.
"She has no right to raise her voice at you for no reason," said Jared. "She needs to cut that out. Tell her parents that she was screaming at you."
"Will do," said Andrew. "Speaking of them, here comes her mom."
"Hey, fellas!" said Rhonda. "Have you seen Olivia?"
"She's at the playground," said Andrew. "She screamed at me."
"Oh my goodness!" gasped Rhonda. "Why did she scream at you?"
"Cause she felt like it," said Andrew. "And she said she was gonna scream at me from now on."
"No, that's not gonna happen," said Rhonda. "I'll tell her not to scream at you, okay? Wait right here. Olivia! Get over here right now!"
"What?!" screamed Olivia.
"I said get over here!" snarled Rhonda.
Olivia groaned, and got off the swings. She walked towards her mother. "What, Mom?"
"Have you been screaming at Andrew?" asked Rhonda.
"No I didn't!" lied Olivia.
"She's lying!" said Andrew. "She did scream at me."
"Tell me the truth, Olivia!" demanded Rhonda.
"Okay, I screamed at him!" said Olivia. "Happy now?"
"He also told me that you are scream at him from now on," said Rhonda. "Olivia, you are not gonna do no such thing! Do you understand me?"
"I like to scream, Mom!" said Olivia. "I enjoy it!"
"You don't ever raise your voice at anyone!" scolded Rhonda. "Would you like a time out?"
"No!" said Olivia.
"Then you will not be screaming at Andrew! Is that clear?" asked Rhonda.
"Yes," sighed Olivia. "Sorry, Andrew, for screaming at you. I will not scream at you ever again."
"Thanks for the apology," said Andrew.
"You're welcome," said Olivia.
"Come on, Olivia, we have to go to the store," said Rhonda.
"But I wasn't done on the swings yet!" protested Olivia.
"I said let's go!" barked Rhonda.
"I hate you, Mom!" snapped Olivia.
"You say that one more time, you'll be grounded for 2 months!" warned Rhonda. "You don't ever say stuff like that about me! I'm your mother, and you don't talk to me that way!"
"Sorry!" said Olivia. "Bye, guys!"
"Bye, Olivia!" Andrew and Jared said in unison. They decided to play some basketball for a while.
