Michael met up with his friends at Applebees. He saw his friends, Roland, Yvonne, and Janet. He was about to sit down, but Janet screamed at him. "You can't sit here, Michael!" she screamed.

"Why not?" asked Michael.

"Cause I said so," said Janet.

"Janet, he can sit here if he wants to," said Yvonne.

"Yeah exactly," said Roland. "This table doesn't have your name on it, so be quiet."

"Go sit somewhere else!" demanded Janet.

"Janet, be quiet!" snapped Yvonne. "It's okay, Michael. You can sit here with us."

"Thanks, Yvonne!" said Michael. And he sat down next to her. Janet just rolled her eyes in disgust.

The waiter came with water for everyone, and then they ordered their food. The waiter took their menus. "Why does Michael have to sit with us?" whined Janet.

"Cause he's our friend," Roland replied defensively.

"He's not my friend!" complained Janet.

"That's your problem then, Janet," said Yvonne. "Not ours."

"I got an idea!" beamed Janet. "How about we ignore Michael?"

"Why would we want to do that?" asked Roland.

"Cause he is a loser!" said Janet.

"Janet, that's not nice!" scolded Yvonne. "Michael is not a loser. He's a cool dude, and our best friend. And no, we're not gonna ignore him."

"I will!" pouted Janet. "If he says hi to me, I will not respond."

"You're being extremely rude right now, Janet," said Roland. "You didn't have to come with us to Applebees if you were gonna act that way."

"Just have Michael sit somewhere else!" demanded Janet.

"Janet, just knock it off," said Yvonne.

Janet just sighed and did not speak for the rest of the time spent at Applebees.
