Elisa? Patrick? How could I have not seen it? I was a fool.. Patrick would've never loved a coward like me. At the time, I let it slide by but it was still on my mind. "Ready?" Brendon asked grabbing his and Jax's bags. We stepped into the street and all the power began to shut off."what's going on?" Spencer asked rotating around."I don't know.." Pete dragged out stepping further out. Suddenly, Jax fell to the ground gasping for air."Jax!" I shouted and dropped my bags running to her. Lightning cracked across the sky as she kept grasping for air. Thunder roared and it sent me falling to the ground, by this time Brendon had occupied Jax. As I fell I saw josh drop his bags and run to me. I fell on my back, so he grabbed my head before it could hit the street."Link?"he asked wrapping his other arm around me and pulling me up into a hug. I let out a small noise in response and I could feel his tears drip onto my shirt. I looked over his shoulder to see Patrick. He was holding his face and crying, wonder why. I felt Josh's grip get tighter as I drifted into darkness."Link" I heard a voice say. The room I was in was bright white and Elton appeared on a staircase."yes sir?" I asked focusing on him."you all are late" he said standing infront of me."I know sir, we're sorry" I replied slightly embarrassed."but that's not why you're here" he said pointing around the blank space."it's about you, my dear" he said trying to sound fatherly."what about me?" I asked curiously."i can tell who loves you, not who you love" he said pointing towards me."and?" I asked wanting to know this."that boy, the one holding you. That's the one who loves you. Now, if you love him. I'll never know" he said turning around and heading to the stairs."is that all?" I asked."see you soon,link" he said while I was pulled back into life. I coughed once and squeezed out,"j-Josh?" I asked seeing I was still in his arms. "Yes link?" He asked pulling me to where he could be seen. He had been crying, and his eyes were puffy."thank you" I said pulling him back into the hug. He didn't speak but only squeezed tighter. The lights returned back and Jax came back."we should go now, he's waiting" I said pushing myself up."yeah" everyone agreed and we headed off to Greenland.
