Spencer pov (srry about the randomness)

I couldn't believe it. Brendon was gone? What was really sad was that I had to watch my best friend die in front of me. If that's not sad I don't know what is. Its been a little over a week since he died, and I swear Jax is getting worse. We have all been at her house for a week and I've havent seen her since. She stays in here room all, day, long. We all tried to go up there but it was no use. Today was the day of Brendons funeral and I wasn't sure if Jax was going to go. I wasnt even sure if she knew it was today. We all were at the house and almost everyone was ready. Except Pete. Pete just sat there eating.

"Pete, get ready we are about to leave." Joe said. Pete groaned and eventually went to the room where he was staying to get dressed. We just sat in silence. Brendon dying really took a toll on us. Pete came back down looking halfway decent. We all argued on who should go upstairs to talk to Jax. We literally argued until I volunteered to go upstairs. I walked upstairs and straight to Jax's door. I knocked.

"Jax? Are you in there?" I said, wondering why I asked such an obvious question. No answer. I knocked again.

"Jax? Cmon it's Spencer." I said. Still no answer. I went to open the door but it was locked. I pushed against the door but it wouldn't budge. Instead of busting in, I walked to the bathroom and looked for a bobby pin. With two girls and a bunch of hair-conscious guys in the house, there must be bobby pins. I found one pretty easily and I walked back to the door. While I was picking it, Pete came up.

"What's going on? We are about to leave." He said.

"She wont answer." I said.
He knocked and yelled her name a few times. I finished picking the lock and we walked in. She wasnt even in there. No Jax in sight. Maybe my question wasnt so stupid? We ran downstairs where everyone was waiting.

"She's gone." Pete sighed.

"What? What do you mean shes gone?" Link asked.

"She's not in her room. Her window is cracked so she either left through the window or she opened it and snuck out through the front door." I said. Link grabbed her phone and texted who Im guessing was Jax.

"Well, even if Jax doesn't go, we still will." Dallon said. We all agreed and got in the car. Just then, Link's phone went off.

"It's Jax." She said. "She said 'dont worry im already here.'" We all calmed down.

"So she's fine?" Pete asked.

"That I dont know. I just know shes already at the funeral home." Link said. After they exchanged more words, we were already there. We all got out of the van and walked into the funeral home. We didnt see Jax anywhere. Since we were already late, the funeral begun. Still no Jax. The man began speaking about Brendon while gesturing to the closed casket beside him. We were all crying pretty much. He talked some more until the funeral was about over. If Jax was here, where was she? I looked behind me at the wall the check the time and there she was. She was sitting in a seat in the far corner. She made eye contact with me and faintly smiled. I smiled back knowingly and gave her a little wave. She waved back and by then the funeral was over. She got up immediately and left the room crying. I got up as well to run after her. I finally caught up to her when she got to her car. She almost shut the door when I held it open.

"Woah woah woah, just wait." I said. She didnt say anything.

"Where have you been? You haven't come out of your room in a week." I said.

"Yeah I know." She mumbled.

"It's not healthy Jax." I said. A tear fell down her face as she just stared at the steering wheel she was tapping with her fingers.

"What's wrong Jax..." I asked.

"Well what do you thinks wrong Spencer?" She said kind of angrily.

"I know Brendons gone but staying in your room isnt going to change it." I said.

"Listen Spencer, I don't want to be around people. After all we've been through, that's all I ask." She said grabbing the door and shuting it. She started her car and got ready to drive off.

"Jax, just please call if you need anything." I told her. She nodded and drove off. I just stood there defeated. By then Dallon was running out to me.

"Where did you go?" He asked.

"To talk to Jax." I said.

"She was actually here?"

"Yeah. I dont know whats going to happen now." I said. He frowned and nodded. We walked back into the funeral home but before we went in, I looked at the sky. I just pondered. I wondered if Jax was going to be okay. And also, if we were going to be okay.
