Jax's pov

All I could see was grey. I sense the storms in the sky but I couldnt see anything. I could hear Brendon beside me, screaming my name. I didnt even realize that I wasnt breathing until I heard myself wheezing and gasping for air. Then, everything went dark, yet then lightened into a very bright, white room. Elton. I looked around until I saw him sitting on a white couch.

"Oh! Look who it is! Jax! I barely recognized you since you are so late. You've grown so old!" He screamed. I sighed.

"Im really sorry Elton. We were on our way until this." I said, motioning around the room.

"I know, but you're here because I need to speak to you about someone particular." He said. "Have a seat." He said. I sat down next to him and he put his hand on my shoulder.

"We dont have much time. You are basically running out of air right now so we need to hurry." He laughed.

"Who do we need to talk about?" I asked.

"Brendon." He said. I facepalmed and slouched in the chair.

"What about Brendon?" I asked.

"He's got you very.....distracted." He said.

"What? How?" I said.

"Well, not yet I should say. Just stay focused on what's important to you, not everyone else." He said.

"Thats selfish though." I said.

"Not when you know what I mean." He said, winking at me. I just looked at him.

"Well, I better get you back. I'll see you all very soon my dear." He said patting my shoulder. He waved and I immediately sat up off the ground. I was breathing heavy, trying to catch my breath.

"Jax! Are you alright?" Brendon asked. I noticed that he was holding me on the ground. I looked over to see Link on the ground too. Josh was right there with her, just like Brendon was with me.

"Yeah I'm ok. How long have you been here?" I asked. He looked at my and gave me a small smile.

"Ever since we met." He said, smiling still. Thats all I needed to hear to know he actually cared about me. I didnt think it was true. Was it? Did Brendon like me? I smiled back and the lights finally turned on again.

"We should go now, he's waiting." Link said. Brendon helped me up and we all grabbed our bags out of the house and finally all got in the car. It was my turn to drive and Brendon called shotgun. The airport was about 30 minutes away but it wasnt the drive that I thought about. Nor was it Elton. It was one special person on my mind.

And he was sitting right next to me.
