56. Boss battle part 1

Ring ring

My phone rang which interrupted the weird tv show I was watching. Something about the power rangers wearing sombreros. What even. I looked at my phone and it was the one and only Elton. I almost didnt answer but I did anyway.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello Jax. It's been a while." He said laughing.

"Its been like, half an hour Elton." I said.

"Yep. And we are late. That's why you need to get all the Guardians to the house immediately. You guys need to train." He said.

"What for?" I asked alert.

"The storm. Its here." He said. I almost dropped my phone. Elton had mentioned after the Link possession that Lucifer was making a mass storm. We didnt think it would really happen, but apparently it has.

"No way." I said.

"You guys have 1 day until the storm hits its highest point. That's when I will take you there. Good luck Jax." He said.

"But wait you-" I was cut off by him hanging up on me. Crap. I contemplated on what to do until I decided to tell Link. I walked into her room to her and Josh asleep. I felt kinda rude to wake her up but this was important.

"Link." I said poking her. She took a second to wake up.

"What?" She said.

"Elton called....the storm is here." I said.

"Okay...what else did he say?" She asked.

"We have a day to prepare before we go to battle." I said, not knowing how else to word it. "We need to get ready." She nodded and I left the room. I walked into the kitchen to see Brendon asleep on the table with a bowl of cereal beside him. Pete was beside him to, which I'm not sure how Pete got into the locked house. I didnt question it further and Link walked in with Josh behind her. We woke Pete and Brendon up while Josh went to wake Patrick up. I called the rest of Panic with Brendon and the other called everyone else. We talked about what to do while everyone else showed up. Link and I went downstairs to set up the dummies and Link's stuff.

"Are you nervous?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Wicked nervous. Are you?"

"Yeah. I just hope we all make it out ok." I said. She nodded. We continued moving dummies around til we made a awesome training gym.

"Im going to get everyone. Is there anything you need from upstairs." I asked.

"Just my phone. Oh and Josh of course." She said. I shook my head and smiled. She stayed down to get her weapons ready. I told everyone to come down and I showed them to the basement.

"Since when did we buy a basement?" Pete said. What.

"Ever since we lived here Pete." I said laughing.

"I honestly didnt even know we had a basement." He said. Geez. We got down there and Link had everything ready.

"Ok guys, I made these weapons for us." She said. We didnt even know what to do until she explained in a 10 minute presentation on what to do and dont and how to operate the machines. She finished and everyone started training. Patrick, Pete and Joe started shooting these high-tech 'magical' crossbows while Brendon, Spencer and Dallon shot these guns. Tyler and Josh used their powers to do some fancy trick. I was talking to Link when the doorbell rang. I had no clue who it could have been. I ran upstairs to the door. I couldnt tell who it was by looking out the window, so I opened the door. I almost passed out. I tend to usually almost pass out alot but this was the closest to actually passing out. Andy was there. I tried to shut the door in his face but he held it open.

"Wait Jax wait." He said opening the door. "Elton sent me."

"Why? You're crazy Andy." I said.

"Can I come in to explain?" He said. He looked upset so I let him in cautiously. He came in and sat down.

"Listen, I'm really sorry. I-I dont know what I was thinking all those times. But trust me, I've changed." He said.

"Andy, you said that last time."

"I know but I mean it this time. I missed having my friends around. I'm really honestly sorry." He said almost crying. I honestly felt bad for him. I sat next to him on the other couch and gave him a hug. He seemed a little shocked but hugged me back.

"Let's go downstairs and see everyone else." I said. He nodded and we walked downstairs. I walked in first and Andy stayed back a little.

"What took so long? And who was at the door?" Link asked. I looked behind me and Andy walked out. Link's face dropped and Fall Out Boy ran up to hug him. Link pulled me aside.

"What is he doing here?" She asked alert.

"Link, he's really sorry about this."

"You believe him?" She asked.

"Yeah I do. Look Elton sent him to help us, so please be nice. He's sorry."

"Why does he need to help us?"

"Elton said we need all the help we can get." She sighed.

"Be nice." I said smiling. She gave me a thumbs up and we went back over there. Surprisingly, everyone was training. We both went over to see how the others were doing and ended up training too. We trained the rest of the day until it was about nine at night. We needed to get some rest so we all stayed at the house. Tommorow is going to be crazy.

The next day

We were all ready to go. (Intended lol)
Elton needed us to get to a certain bridge so he could transport us. We were all in the car and I was driving us to the certain bridge. I was wicked nervous so I was all over the road. I actually safely got us to the bridge and we all got out of the car. I didnt even care about the people driving by. We just stood there waiting. Brendon pulled me aside to talk to me.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Im really nervous about this." I told him.

"Dont be. Just dont even think about the fact that this is the biggest battle of our lives." He said. I chuckled.

"It's going to be ok. We've done stuff like this before, and you were great. You're going to do great now too. I know it." He said. That actually made me feel better.

"Thanks Beebo." I said. He smiled at me and gave me a hug.

"I love you Jax." He said. I swear I blacked out. I was shocked.

"I love you too Beebo." I said. Just then, we heard this big crash. Link waved for us to come over.  We ran over there and everything changed. We weren't on the bridge anymore. We were on a cliff. I looked up and saw the huge storm. Here it begins.
