Chapter 11: Not the best

"Genevieve, I'm in love with you." Patrick said. I dropped my jaw and looked at Spencer. He seemed just as shocked. However....not as shocked as Josh. He wasnt so much shocked as he was mad. He whispered something to Brendon, who was standing next to me, and bolted out the door. I didnt hear what he said, but it probably wasnt good. Link looked at the door and then at Patrick. He was still crying and I knew Link couldnt just leave him there. I decided to talk to Josh myself to see what was going on. I left the room to see Josh outside of his and Tylers room, sitting on the floor with his back against the wall and his eyes closed.

"Hey." I said.

"I don't want to talk Link." He said.

"Open your eyes Josh." I said chuckling. He opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Oh. Hi Jax." He said.

"What happened back there?" I asked.

"Its nothing really." He said.

"Josh, you can tell me. We've known each other forever." I said.

"I know but its just complicated." He said.

"Josh. Just tell me. I know something is bothering you." I said.

"Its Link." He said.

"Link?" I said confused. Then it hit me. It all made sense. "Oh..."

"Yeah. I really really like her but Patrick." He said.

"You like Link? I didnt know you did." I said. It made sense. When we fell in the storm thing Josh was right with her.

"Not exactly.." He said.

"Um..what." I said.

"I think I love her." He said. Geez.

"I think you should tell her that. If you love her enough to fight for her then you should at least tell her." I said.

"That actually makes sense. Thanks Jax." He said.

"No problem Josh. I hope it's good advice. I haven't had the best luck with relationships, as you can see how Andy went." I said. He laughed lightly. Everyone started to leave the room except Link and Patrick. Tyler and Josh went to their room and everyone else went to theirs. Brendon walked out too but he ran up to me.

"Hello beautiful." He said smiling at me. I blushed a bit.

"Hello bean." I said.

"Patrick's doing better. I think. He's coming out in a second." Just when he said that Patrick walked out. He seemed to look better. He smiled and waved at us and walked back to his and Petes room. Brendon and I walked back to my room and I couldn't find my key. I searched my pockets and nothing.

"Forget your key?" He asked.

"Yeah I have an extra one they gave me in Link's room. I'll go get it." I said.

"No it's ok. Just come to my room. We can watch a movie or something." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Of course. Dallon and Spencer went out somewhere so they wont be there. Let's go." He said leading me to his room. We finally got there and Brendon looked in Spencers bag for a movie. He finally found only one movie which was The Game Plan. He put it in the tv and he sat down on the bed with me. The movie started and I put my head on his shoulder. He pur his arm around me and smiled. J smiled too and looked at the clock. 11:26. We continued to watch the movie for quite a bit. I started to doze off until Brendon kissed my head. I smiled and my eyes got heavy. I fell asleep thinking about Link and Josh, but more importantly,

Brendon.
