54: There's a string in the toilet

We got home and I went straight to my room. I was pretty tired after the game. But something else made me really drowsy. I just climbed into bed and fell straight asleep. I was already asleep when Brendon walked in. He climbed into bed and fell asleep too.

Later that night....

I woke up with shooting pains in my back. Like excruciating pains. I couldnt take it. I started making these uncontrollable noises and I was shaking. Brendon was up and calling my name. Link, Josh and Patrick came running too. They were confused and scared. Suddenly, Link fell to the ground. She started shaking too, just like me. I felt something poke out of my back. I finally calmed down and Elton was there. I looked behind me and saw tears in my back and these wings had sprouted. They were grey with little lightning rods.

"Ah, figures thats what they would be." Elton said oddly.

"Are you ok?" Brendon asked looking at my "wings."

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked.

"Sooner than I thought, but this is good." Elton said.

"Stop being so indirect your-" Brendon got cut off by Josh throwing something. Josh and Patrick were fighting. Link was still freaking out on the ground and they were fighting. Elton had to break them up. Just as they got away from each other, Link sprouted wings too. She finally calmed down and Josh ran over to her. She held her head as if in pain.

"This is wonderful! Both at the same time!" Elton said.

"Why are you so indirect all the time?" Brendon said.

"Ok children, we need to get ready for this." Elton said.

"This is what I mean." Brendon whispered to me. I laughed silently.

"Ready for what?" Patrick said.

"This boss fight. Its going to happen soon. I can feel it. And especially if you two are getting your wings." Elton said.

"About that, what's up with these?" I said directing toward the wings.

"Ah young children. You will learn soon." He said. "I must be going. Learn control you two." He said jumping out of the window. What even. Our wings eventually disappeared through the conversation. Josh had a cut on his eyebrow and Patrick had a bloody lip. Link took Josh to clean up and Patrick went to bed and I went to the bathroom real quick.

"Link!" I called.

"Yeah?" She said coming into the bathroom.

"There's a string in the toilet."
