24. It all begins

Brendon and I walked into Elton main gates hand in hand. Josh and Link went in before us so we were just catching up to them.

"You ok?" Brendon asked.

"Yeah. Just nervous, like always." I said. He kissed my hand and I smiled. We kept walking until we saw Josh running in circles flailing his arms.

"Link! Link! Shes- Link?!" He literally screamed.

"Woah woah Josh what's going on?" Brendon asked.

"Lrhnge sjejaj LINK" He mumbled.

"Listen, calm down. What's wrong?" I asked.

"We got here and some thing came down and teleported her away. I tried to get her but...." He said.

"What?! We need to tell Elton!" I said.

"No! We need to get Link!" Josh screamed.

"No that's a bad idea. We dont know what we are dealing with up there." Brendon reasoned.

"But Link?!" Josh said.

"Elton will have better knowledge about this. Lets go!" Brendon said.

"No! Im staying here!" Josh whined.

"It's not safe to do that-"

"I dont care!" Josh cut me off.

"Fine man, but we're leaving." Brendon said dragging me inside.
We ran all the way up until we got to the conference room. Everyone was sitting there, beside Link and Josh.

"Where have you guys been?" Elton asked.

"We need help. Some black mass swooped Link away and Josh is our there freaking out and-"

"Stop. Did you say a black mass?" Elton cut Brendon off.

"Yeah."

"Everyone, outside, now!" He said sprinting outside. We all followed.
We got out to where Josh was and he kept pointing up.

"We need a way to get there." Elton said.

"But how?" Spencer said.

"Hmm.. any ideas?" Elton said.

"We could like, stack each other up and-"

"Just stop Tyler. Just stop." Elton said. "How can we get from one place to another?"

"We need to hurry. We dont know what Link's going through." Patrick said. Josh glared at him.

"We need to go fast. And now." Elton said. "Wait! That gives me an idea! Jax! Use your lighting powers!"

"Me? What?" I asked.

"Yeah! All you do is concentrate on who you want to send and snap your fingers. Dallon, Joe, and Tyler, you guys stay here and protect the area. Now hurry!" Elton said. I cleared my mind and concentrated on sending everyone who was going. I got to myself and snapped my fingers. Before I knew it I was in some house. It was colored mahogany everywhere. We were all laying on the ground and we were all confused.

"Where are we?" Brendon asked.

"Uh...I'm not sure yet. Everyone stick close." Elton said. Brendon grabbed my hand and we all started walking around.

"Who chose mahogany? It's a terrible choice of color." Pete said.

"Excuse me?" A new voice boomed. We all turned around to see a woman who Elton has mentioned to be Courtney, another person I hadnt recognized, and Link. They all had evil looks in their eyes. We all stood their shocked.

"Listen Courtney and Lucifer, we just want Link back. Once we get her, we will be on our way." Elton said.

"Why leave? This is only the beginning." This apparent Lucifer said.
