They all started charging after us. The Lucifer guy immediately went after Elton. Elton pretty much beat the crap out of him. Elton left him beat on the floor. These creepy hounds started running after us. I looked over and saw that Pete was being attacked by one. I shot at it and it flew off of him. I turned around to see Courtney cut me on the side of the head. Great. My knees pretty much gave out and I fell. Someone hit her in the head above me.

"It's ok Jax. I'll get you out of here. Trust me." The voice said. Then I blacked out

I woke up in the infirmary in the Guardian headquarters. Other people were in the infirmary as well, including Pete and Tyler. I looked around the room to see Brendon sitting on my bed.

"Hey beautiful." He said.

"Hey Brendon. What happened?" I asked.

"Well, you got kind of hurt. Link and the two other people went crazy. You got scratched on the head a bit, but everythings ok." He said.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

"About 3 days."

"Geez. How's Link?" I asked.

"She's good. No more demon in her or anything." He chuckled. "The doctor lady said you could leave as soon as you woke up."

"Do we need to go see Elton?" I asked.

"Unfortunately. If your feeling better then we can leave." He said, giving me a kiss. I got up and we heading up to Elton. Before we got to the elevator Josh ran up to me.

"Jax! Come here!" He said. I looked at Brendon

"Go ahead. I'll tell Elton." He said. I smiled and hugged him and headed over to Josh.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Elton told me something serious." He said. He just looked at me without saying anything.

"Umm...What did you-" He shoved me into a random closet. He shut the door and told me to be quiet.

"Ok Jax, sorry about that. Some of Eltons workers were coming." He said.

"What do you need to tell me thats so secretive?" I asked.

"Elton told me that Link isnt doing good. The possession really took a toll on her. Shes unstable, her powers are being odd. She might not make it if she's isnt careful." He said, crying at this point. "Elton didn't want me to tell anyone but I decided to tell you because maybe you could figure this out." He cried even harder now and all I could do is hug him because I didn't know what else to do. Everyone always thought I could solve huge problems but this seemed out of my control.

"We should probably go upstairs before Elton gets suspicious." He said. I nodded and we left the closet. We took the stairs so we could talk a little more.

"Oh crap, I forgot my phone. I'll be right back." He said.

"Ok. Just be careful because the stairs-" Josh tumbled down the stairs. Oh my gosh.
