Chapter 9: Here we go

I was alone in my room, thinking. Sometimes my thoughts would go to seeing Elton tommorow, but mostly I thoughy about what he said. I didnt know what he meant about importance. Or maybe I didnt want to find out. I pondered that thought when suddenly someone knocked on my door. I looked through the peephole and it was the exact person I wanted to see. I opened the door to see Brendon standing there.

"Heyy sunshine." He said.

"Heyy. " I said back smiling.

"Are you busy?" He asked me.

"Nope. Sitting here and....doing nothing." I said laughing. He laughed.

"Well theres a little restaurant downstairs thaat Im about to go to and I was wondering if you wanted to come?" He asked. I could tell he was nervous about asking me. He was really fidgety and kept playing with his hands.

"Of course I'll go Beebo." I said smiling. He sighed with relief and stopped moving so much.

"Really? Great! Well, we can go now if you'd like?" He said.

"Sure. Just let me get my jacket." I ran in and grabbed my phone and jacket. I came out and Brendon smiled at me. I shut the door and we walked down the hallway. Since we were on the second floor of the fancy hotel Elton paid for, we took the stairs. We finally got to the restaurant and we both sat down.

"If you dont mind me asking, what's next for the band?" I asked.

"Well, we arent sure yet. All this Elton stuff is a bit distracting." Distracting. Wow my luck.

"Yeah I see what you mean. I hope you guys can make more music. I love your music." I said smiling.

"It wouldn't be here if not for you and Link." He said.

"Nah. You are very talented Beebo. You did it yourself." I said. Just before he could answer our food came. We both got a burger which was very good. We talked a bit more about random stuff. He was really flirty and it was really cute.

"Will this be one check or two?" The waiter asked. Just before I could answer, Brendon said,
"On me sir."

"Brendon, you didnt have to do that." I said.

"Its alright. I wanted to." He said smiling and winking. As the waiter came back, we both stood up and left the restaurant. We started for upstairs when he asked me a question.

"Jax?" He said.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Do you like movies?" He asked.

"Uh.. movies? Like films?" I asked confused.

"Like seeing a movie at a theater." He said.

"Oh..yeah? Why?" I asked.

"Do you want to go with me sometime?" He asked.

"Of course I will Beebo." I said chuckling.

"Really? Wow. How about Saturday?" He asked. I smiled.

"It's a date." I said smiling. We looked at each other for a second. He then started to lean in. I leaned in until our lips met. He kissed me passionately and I kissed back. Suddenly a door down the hall opened. It was Dallon.

"Brendon! There you are!" Dallon screamed. Brendon and I laughed.

"Well, I'll see you tommorow baby bear." He said smiling at me. He held my hands in his.

"Ok. Goodnight Beebo." I said looking at him smiling.

"Goodnight gorgeous." He said, kissing my cheek and running down to Dallon. I went back to my room and laid down on the bed. I dont know how long I laid there thinking. I only knew one thing.
