Brandon was swaying Em and Colleen in his arms, softly singing them a lullaby in the dimmed room. Callie sneakily peeked into the doorway, loving and adoring the view. She tiptoed closer, curious as to which song he was singing to them that night, because his voice was inaudible. She was expecting to hear a soothing tune coming from his lips, but instead, she heard Brandon whispering and repeating the phrase "dada."

"Brandon..." she warned, laying her head on his shoulder after she got to her tippy toes so she could see their daughters. He stopped immediately, almost as if he had been caught. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, nothing," he breathed as he continued to rock the girls.

"Are you trying to make their first words 'dada'?"

"No," he lied.

"You know their babbles aren't going to form into real words for a few more months, right?"

"Yeah...but it's good to get a head start," he finally admitted to the accusation. Callie playfully scoffed and grabbed the closest girl she could get her hands on, which just so happened to be Em.

"That's not fair," she told in her baby voice, lifting Em so they were face to face. "Because you're gonna say mama first, right? Mama, mama, mama..."

"Okay, okay."

"You've been singing them to sleep for a week," Callie started as she gently placed Em in her crib and Brandon laid Colleen in hers. "Wait- have you even been singing? Or have you just been brainwashing them."

"I sing for a while, and then they get bored and doze off, so I keep saying dada ," he whispered as they softly walked out of the nursery, the wooden boards creaking under their feet.

"Mhm mhm," Callie sassily perked her lips. They strolled into their bedroom, ready to rest their bodies by submerging them into the cushiony, comfy blankets and pillows. As she walked around to her side of the bed, her eyes caught the bright white papers on the desk and quickly grabbed them. "Oh! I forgot to tell you." Callie jumped into bed with the heavy material in her hands as Brandon did the same. "Our health insurance cards came today. All of ours." She handed him the sheet of plastic cards attached. He punched them out and looked through them, looking at his own, then one reading 'Elizabeth Foster', one reading 'Colleen Foster,' and the last one had his wife's name on it.

"That's awesome. Callie Foster," Brandon hummed in satisfaction.

"That's me," she smiled before pressing a tender kiss onto his lips. He continued gazing at the medical insurance cards, thinking about an important question that they had yet to discuss.

"Do you want Em and Colleen to have godparents? You know, just in case." Callie looked at him, intrigued in his proposal. "I know we have plenty of family to take care of them if the worst were to happen to both of us, but we can designate someone to that. It's something we can control from beyond the grave," he laughed and so did she.

"I guess it's a good idea. Who do we want to be their godmother? Should each girl have different ones? Or can they just have the same ones?"

"How am I supposed to know? Moms I guess, right?" Brandon saw Callie's displeased look on her face. "What? You don't think so?"

"I was thinking more like Mariana."

"Really? Mariana? The one who bought our children clothes to compliment herself."

"Still. When Ana had her baby, she was very motherly towards her. So motherly Ana practically told her to leave because she felt smothered, remember?"

"That's true," he mumbled. "What about godfather?"

"Oh god. I don't know. Jude?" She asked, hesitant to his reaction, not 100 percent sold on it herself.
