Callie was in the kitchen, pouring a cup of coffee to start her morning, even though it wasn't the morning at all. The clock struck 12:30 pm and Callie needed to hurry if she was going to make it to work in time for her shift. She was only scheduled for about three days throughout the week and she was expecting to get her first paycheck from this job today.

Callie scurried into the nursery to find Em and Collen making light giggling noises on the floor in nothing but their diapers. Brandon had just changed them and was currently blowing air onto their bellies, which created the sound of someone passing gas.

"I'm going, see you later," she laughed from the continuous chuckles from Brandon and faint wailing from the girls.

"Okay," he distractedly said, not really paying attention. He had his eyes on the Colleen and Em plus their cuteness.

"Should I bring home something to eat or do you wanna cook for dinner?" She asked rhetorically, knowing that Brandon's answer was going to be something nonchalant.

"Yeah, okay." He leaned over to the small pile of clothes he had laid out on the floor for them.

"Brandon!" Callie laughed, holding her hand on her hip.

"Yeah?"

"What are we going to eat tonight?!"

"Whatever's fine," he mumbled in his baby voice. Callie moaned in frustration, but when straight back to laughing when she turned to walk out of the nursery.

"I love you!" She shouted before opening the front door.

"I love you, too!" He yelled back before drawing his attention back to his daughters.

Brandon picked up Em from underneath her arms and held her to where her toes wrapped in pink fabric lightly grazed the white, fluffy rug. Her legs instantly started bobbing up and down, ready to jump to the moon. Brandon noticed her crazy legs and grinned.

"Well, you're a lively little thing, aren't you," he spoke within his ear-to-ear smile. "Maybe we should get you those bouncy swing things. What do you think, Colleen?" He looked down at the goofy girl laying on the floor still. She looked straight at him as soon as he said her name, like she knew it and could respond. "Do you think Em can handle a bouncy swing thing?" Em did the same thing as Colleen, she giggled when she heard her name.

Brandon had both Em and Colleen attached to his hips as he made his way to the kitchen to feed them. He set them in their high chairs and proceeded with making their bottles, feeding them, and burping them. He made the decision to pack the girls up in the stroller and head to the baby store, trying to find a suitable door jumper for Em, and possible Colleen, to bounce in. If it ended up not working out for right now because they're not old enough, they'll eventually use the contraption.

Collen and Em were strapped in the stroller, being pushed down the side walk by their father. Brandon never thought of something until he was in the store. The jumper was in a fairly large box and he couldn't exactly shove it into the stroller or something. He ended up only pushing the stroller with one hand while he held the box on his shoulder, gripping his arm around it. This was very difficult because the stroller him and Callie had bought had two grips, rather than one long bar handle. He got many looks and stares, some of pity, some of annoyance, and some of laughter. He finally made it back home, which by the time he even made it, his left hand was sore and his right arm and shoulder was burning.

When Brandon got home, he was a little bummed because it was time for the girls' nap. So Em couldn't try the new door jumper until after they woke up. Which was probably for the best anyway, who knew how long it would take Brandon to install it into the bathroom doorway.
