"Wanna go again?" Brandon mumbled against the skin of the small of Callie's back, placing soft kisses up it every now and then, sending chills down her body . She was laying on her stomach with the sheet covering most of her in the their bedroom that was dim from the heavy overcast outside. It was a perfect day to stay indoors from the anticipated rain, but it was a Friday.
"Before breakfast?" She asked playfully, knowing he was going to have a sly comeback.
"Well, I already had breakfast," he smirked as she rolled onto her back to face him. Their chests settled against each others, the space between their lips was decreasing stealthily by the second. Brandon's hands slid down Callie's sides underneath the blankets, while her hands was grazing up his back, feeling his muscles tightened and release to his movements. Then suddenly, they hear Em and Colleen whining from the nursery.
"Just ignore them," she jokingly whispered.
"Callie," he laughed, rolling onto his back to rest his body.
"You have to get to school anyway." Callie looking at her nightstand and noticed the time. "If you don't hurry you're gonna be late."
"Yeah, yeah," he sighed, leaning up to swing his legs to the floor. "Wait, don't you have that meeting today with that investor guy."
"In a few hours, but I think I'm gonna call him and say I can't make it." She got to her feet and slid her pajamas back on while Brandon went ahead and got dressed for the day.
"Why?" Brandon wondered as they walked into the nursery to greet Em and Colleen, who were both standing in their cribs smiling. Him and Callie grabbed them and filed into the kitchen.
"Well one, its not like I can just leave the girls here by themselves. And second, I'm a sophomore in college, do I really wanna be tackling some big change right now? He's talking about Fost and Found being the 'next big thing for foster care reform and awareness.' I don't even know what he's expecting."
"I guess you'll never know. I think you should just go and hear him out. You have nothing to lose, what's the worst thing that could happen?"
"I guess you're right. But the girls-"
"Just take them with you. They're usually nice and quiet," Brandon interrupted her, pulling their high chairs forward to rest them in.
"But-"
"Callie, if I had a meeting with...I don't know, the head of Juilliard, you would want me to go, right?"
"Speaking of Juilliard," she turned her body to the oven, looking at the time again while reaching for the carton of fruit puffs to pour on the trays of the high chairs. "Now you're really gonna be late. You better get going."
"Aw hell," Brandon breathed once he realized she was right. He hustled to the bathroom to brush his teeth, fix his hair, grab his shoes and head out the door.
Callie had a few hours before meeting with the guy at his corporation office. She had no idea what to expect or how big this man was going to go. When they spoke on the phone, he asked if they could meet to discuss the growth and expansion of Fost and Found. She didn't know how much 'growth' he wanted.
Callie fed Em and Colleen before heading to the computer, going through her school work for the day fairly quickly. She had to take a break shortly into sitting down, purely from exhaustion. She headed to the kitchen to brew some coffee while she watched Em and Colleen take a few steps, then fall to the ground. It made her smile that they were growing up, but also a little upset that it was like they were growing in the blink of an eye.
Before she knew it, it was 9:30 and she had to be at the building at 10. Callie quickly brushed her teeth and packed up the stroller, only leaving about 10 minutes for her to get to the meeting.
"Hey, Cals," Brandon greeted as he walked through the front door after a long school day, strolling towards Callie sitting on the couch, typing on the laptop. "What's up?"
"Hey," she intoned, very focused on the screen. Her body shifted slightly when Brandon sat down next to her.
"Where are the girls?" He asked looking around the room and noticing the nursery door was closed, curious as to her day.
"Napping," she told him right as he took a loud, deep breath, lying back into the couch. "You okay?" She wondered when she finally tore her eyes from the screen, glancing at him rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah, just tired. It was a busy day."
"Busier than usual?" Brandon nodded his head to Callie's question while she closed the laptop and placed it on the coffee table before sitting back into the couch as well. "Why?"
"They needed people to be apart of the orchestra for the musical they're doing for the musical theatre department."
"I didn't know Juilliard put on musicals."
"Neither did I. But I auditioned basically out of peer pressure and I will be in the pit for The Lily's Revenge," Brandon mocked, fairly annoyed with the whole thing.
"So you don't want do it," she repeated, wanting to understand how he feels.
"I mean, I don't want to, but I will. Wait- did you end up going to that meeting today?"
"Yeah, I did. It took forever. I was there for like three hours."
"How did it go? What did he say?" Brandon was trying to keep his eyes open long enough for Callie to explain her day, but he was having a hard time doing so.
"He rambled on about big words I didn't understand, but basically I think he wanted to move forward with making Fost and Found an app and eventually making it an organization."
"That's cool," he chirped, already falling asleep slightly. "What are you gonna do?"
"I think I'm gonna...go through with his plans. I think it'll be good."
"That's great, Callie."
"Yeah, well, I think Colleen and Em will be down for another 20 minutes. You wanna..." Her words faded away once she noticed Brandon's eyes had been closed for several seconds. "Brandon?" She gently shook him. "Brandon?" Callie gave up and looked at the clock on her phone on the coffee table. Even though it was only five o'clock, she could use a nap too. Callie resituated herself by swinging her legs onto the couch and laying her head on Brandon's lap.

A/N- AHH I'm such a crappy writer! I'm so flaky, I could not feel more terrible! I know this is a crap excuse but I've just been so busy. I know this chapter is short, but that will change soon! I hope you all enjoyed it! Thank you so so so so much for reading! XOXO
*p.s. this is not read over yet, I'm sure there are some grammatical errors
*my thoughts on the anticipated finale that airs TODAY!!! I understand that brallie will probably not happen, but I wish it would. It needs to to keep the mid-season finale tradition alive! 1x10 kiss, 2x10 kiss, 3x10 (technically 3x09) but still. And 4x10 has some 2x10 vibes going on! What I want to happen (brallie rising and getting away from this nasty drought) will most likely not happen, and I'm trying to keep the faith. But I'm also trying to get prepared to be disappointed when brallie doesn't happen :/
