It was back to the usual in the Adams Foster household. Brandon moved back in. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, just the same bickering from the twins, Brandon and Callie not speaking each other, and Jude barely talking at all.

A week had past since the brallie movie night, and Brandon and Callie hadn't gotten any chances to be alone together. They had little interactions here and there, but the gang hadn't all been out of the house at the same time. Brandon and Callie became desperate to spend time with each other, so they started taking little risks. But nothing too risky that would expose them. They still planned on telling people soon, they just needed time to figure out how this could work and make a plan.

It was the early afternoon on a Saturday, and everyone was out-and-about having fun, hanging out with friends. The only people home were Stef, Lena, Brandon, and Callie. Stef and Lena were in the kitchen. Stef was working on a police investigation case and Lena was doing vice principle paper work. Callie and Brandon were both in there rooms. Callie was reading an Brandon was practicing the piano.

Callie wanted a snack, so she got up from her bed and made her way to the kitchen.

"Hey honey! What have you been up to?" Lena asked.

"Reading," Callie replied. Stef and Lena gave each other confused looks.

"You're reading. On a weekend." Stef teased.

"Well it's for school. And everyone else is out of the house and I don't really have any friends so." Callie joked. She grabbed an orange from the basket of fruit that was in the middle of the island and a water from the fridge.

Stef and Lena both had their eyes on Callie. "Ok, love. Have fun." Stef said as she and Lena laughed. Callie joined in on the laughs as she made her way up the stairs.

Brandon heard her coming up the steps so he quickly, but quietly, went to his door and opened it. Callie didn't see him as she opened her door and walked in. Brandon quickly went into her and Mariana's room just before Callie went to shut the door. It startled Callie to see a figure run behind her, so she let out a little scream. Brandon pushed Callie up against the door, causing it to shut. These motions happened so fast and were so loud, Lena and Stef were curious by the sudden banging noise that came and went fairly quickly.

"Callie, honey, are you okay?" Lena yells from the kitchen.

Callie and Brandon giggled silently, "Yeah, I'm fine. I-I tripped." She yelled back.

Brandon mouthed 'what?' to Callie, then started to laugh silently again. Lena and Stef went back to their work in the kitchen. Callie put her full attention back on to Brandon, who had is hand against the door above Callie's head.

"Brandon, you almost blew our cover!" Callie giggled. Brandon and Callie's bodies were inches apart.

"Well, I just couldn't stay away." Brandon said as he leaned in for a quick make out.

Brandon pulled back. "You know I've been thinking," Callie had her hand on his chest as she spoke.

"Yeah..." Brandon was intrigued.

"No, no. I'm talking about that for the past week we've barely spoke to keep up the act of being brother and sister. I was trying to brainstorm other places we could go to spend time together. Maybe your dad's, he's not home during the day."

"Where would we say we were? I don't think that could work. And we can't go out in public." Brandon said. He noticed tears developing in Callie's eyes. "Oh, Callie, it will be okay. We'll figure this out." He pulled Callie in for a tight embrace.

"I don't think we will." Callie let the tears flow on his shoulder.

"What?" Brandon stepped back.

"I don't think we will figure it out, Brandon. We didn't think this through. I mean- what's gonna happen? If or when we tell, I'll get sent somewhere else. Even if I keep getting fostered here, I would still be your foster sister, even if you lived with your dad. And it would still be against the rules. If we were to be together, like actually have a relationship, I would have to leave, and I don't wanna leave."

"Then we'll wait until we're 18." Brandon pleaded, his eyes started to water.

"And then what, Brandon? What if everything gets sorted with my adoption before then? Am I supposed to say 'oh no I want to keep being fostered because I don't know I just do and I want to feel like I can be pulled under the riptide every second of the day'? Am I gonna give up a family just so we can date?" Callie takes a breath.

"So what are you saying?"

"I don't think we can keep doing this."

Brandon snapped, "but we do keep doing this! We keep coming back to each other! Because we're in love! I want to be with you, you want to be with me! It's simple!" After getting that off of his chest, he settled down. "What if you got emancipated? You could still live here and I could live at my dad's! That would be okay, right?"

"Am I just gonna expect Stef and Lena to pay for a lawyer to get me emancipated? You don't think they'll be sad that they won't be able to adopt me?" Callie paused and started to think. "I guess that could work, but would I or we tell them why I want to be emancipated or would we wait until I could get emancipated? But I won't be a member of the family, officially. That's all I ever wanted."

"Who said?" Brandon repeated Callie's words, trying to point something out.

"Who said what?" Callie looked at him confused.

"Who said you would never become a member of this family, officially."

"Brandon we're 16 years old."

"So, Callie I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You wouldn't be giving up all of this just to date. I want it all with you. I told you, I'm in love with you." Brandon spoke with love in his voice.

"Brandon..."

"Callie, there are no excuses anymore. We can do this thing. Let's go tell moms."

Brandon and Callie start to walk out of bedroom and land in the hallway. Callie stops and turns to Brandon and says, "I love you too. I believe you. We can do this."

Stef and Lena hear multiple foot steps coming down the stairs. They look up to see Brandon and Callie standing in front of them with nervous looks on their faces. "What's up?" Stef leaned back and put her glasses on the table.

"We have to tell you something." Brandon stated.

"We?" Lena questioned.

"Yeah, us." Callie added.

A/N- Thanks for reading. I hope you all enjoyed it! I kind of have a discussion I would like to talk about- as I was writing this, I was wondering, if this were to happen in the show at that time, what did they think would happen? I think the writers and directors for The Fosters are very brilliant. Even though I want Brandon and Callie to end up together, I'm really not sure what I'm expecting. Anyway, I hope that made sense. LOL. Tell me what you liked, or disliked about this chapter. Don't be afraid to speak your mind! Would you have preferred Brandon and Callie's conversation to go differently?
