Callie softened her face and stared into Brandon's eyes. "What does this mean? We're gonna wait?"

"Yeah, I guess so. Is that what you want?" Brandon smiled.

"I want us to be together, and if that means we have to wait until it's not illegal or whatever, then that's what we'll do." Callie smiled back, but her smile quickly faded. "But what about Stef and Lena? When I turn 18 and get removed from the system, they will have adoption papers drawn up so quick our heads will spin. What are we going to say? Are we just going to blind side them?" Callie's eyebrows crinkled. "What-"

"Stop," Brandon interjected, pulling Callie into his arms. "We will cross that bridge when-"

"We get to it." She interrupted back.

"Exactly."

"What are we going to do until then?"

"We will play it cool, living how we always do. Except it will hurt less." Brandon and Callie laughed. They had to laugh, they didn't want to look at it any other way than they will get to be together soon.

"What about other people?" Callie said. She noticed the confused expression on Brandon as he pulled his head off of her shoulder, still holding her in his arms. "I mean, don't you think Stef and Lena will think it's weird that two 16, then 17 year olds don't have boyfriends or girlfriends."

"You wanna date other people?" He said sarcastically.

"No, jackass." Callie bit her lip. "But you expect us to totally keep our hands off each other for a whole two years. Or keep our hands off of someone else to, you know..." She leaned in and pressed her cheek against his, and whispered in his ear. "...scratch the itch."

Brandon's eyes widened and his eyebrows arched up. "Well, I guess it would be okay if we...slipped up every now and then to...." He leaned in to replicate Callie, "...scratch the itch." His soft spoken words sent chills down her spine.

"Every now and then?" She asked, emphasizing on the 'now.'

"Mhmm." Brandon pushed his lips onto Callie's. He glided his tongue along Callie's bottom lip. She parted her lips, and his tongue slipped into her mouth. Making the kiss deeper, sexier...

Callie pushed Brandon backwards, making the back of his thighs touch the sink. His hands moved up and down the sides of her body. Callie's hands tangled in his hair before she moved to his belt buckle. Brandon simultaneously moved his hands to Callie's butt, then up her back.

"Brandon? Callie?" Stef yells as she walks through the front door, then heads to the kitchen.

They pulled back, hearts racing and breathing erratic. Through the heavy panting, Callie let out a sigh. "Damn it."

"It's okay, we can do this." He was referring to keeping up a cold front. They needed to act like nothing was going on. Callie stepped back. "We should probably get rid of those before she comes racing up here." Brandon said motioning his head to the multiple pregnancy tests on the counter.

"Yeah. Where should I put them so no one will see them?" She grasped all of them in her hands.

"Well, tomorrow's trash day, so I don't think you need to go stuffing them in your panty drawer." Callie wacked Brandon's arm. They couldn't believe Stef hadn't come upstairs yet.

"That. You can't do that. If this is going to work, you can NOT say those things." She recouped herself. "Which trashcan?"

"The one downstairs? No one's going to go through a trash can full of stinky food and nasty trash."
