{David's POV}
The field used to be purely green, now there are hints of brown and white markings. They already trimmed the grass and painted the markings white again for the convenience of the college's football players. I sighed, hindi na ako pwedeng humiga duon, hindi na malambot. I feel myself pout and I sighed again. I'm sitting and leaning on the bleachers as I watch some football players practice. My mind's drifting through my thoughts about what Jino and Ian made me realize the other day.
But how? I asked myself.
(flashback starts)
Jino and Ian raided my room while I was asleep last night. That time I was still irritated with Jino because he was so close with Gaby. On the same day during noontime we went to an amusement park, me, Joan, Ian, Gaby and Jino. Jino and Gaby were so close and they looked serious together, I can't help but feel jealous since Gaby was spending most of her time with Jino. Gaby still talks to me, but Jino would always come in between us. I haven't really asked Gaby yet with what happened with their closure last Sunday, but whatever it is I know it went REALLY WELL. I'm even having thoughts of Gaby and Jino getting back together. Havng that in mind, when I arrived my room, I immediately went to bed to sleep.
But these raiders....
"David gumising kaaa!" nakapatong na si Ian sa akin at inaalog-alog ako nito para gumising ako. Nang makita ko si Jino na nakatayo sa likod ni Ian ay mas lalo akong nagtalukbong ng kumot.
"Ayoko, ba't ba kayo nandito?" I said as I was really irritated by Ian's cry.
"Wala lang gusto lang namin ni Jino" Ian spoke calmly at that time. Tinanggal ko na ang kumot sa mukha ko, I stared at Ian as he was seriously staring at me. I looked at Jino.
Gaby sure looks like a different person when she's with Jino, she looks more like a lady. Jino stares differently at Gaby, which made me realize...
"Do you still love her?" biglaan kong tanong kay Jino. Jino doesn't seem surprised with my question.
"Maybe, maybe not" he answered.
"What kind of a fucking answer is that?!"
"To be honest David, I still really like Gaby, and especially how much she has changed. But I am mature enough to know who is better for her. I can make her happy, I'm pretty sure about that." Jino stood up. "Gusto kong bumawi kay Gaby" he looked at me, as if he was telling me to stay away from her.
Sa totoo lang, sumisikip ang dibdib ko ngayon. I suddenly remembered how close Jino and Gaby were.
"No" I stood up and glared at Jino. "I won't let you have her"
