Chapter 10

Maya's Pov.
I woke up not knowing what's going on. Looking on to my right there I saw a sleeping Brad with hair all over his face.
After remembering what happened I heard a big slam. It must've been the front door, bit who would leave, and with that much anger.
I turned to Brad seeing that he woke up.

"Mornin Love" he said in his amazing British accent.
"Good morning" I replied smiling.
"What happened over there?" He asked confused
"I wanna know also..." I replied getting up , signaling Brad to also come with me.

We walked to the living room seeing James on the couch with his head in his hands , Connor walking circles around the room, Tristan sitting on the couch trying to cheer James up and absolutely no sign of Skylar.

"What happened?" Asked Brad
"I f*cked up... That's what happened " said James with sadness in his voice
"Woah , wait up what's wrong and why did Sky leave , almost taking the door with her?" I asked now all of them.

"Ughhh I didn't what you guys to find out like this..." James said standing up looking into the view through the balcony.
"Find out about what?" Brad asked confused
"Umm...well you all remember Julia right... The one we met a couple of weeks ago?" James asked referring to the boys
"Yeah..." They all said in once.
"But what about her?" Connor asked
"Well we ... We're dating " James said finally turning to us.
"And I guess she sent me a message that I didn't hear cuz I was sleeping, but Skylar read it . I think she got mad that I didn't tell her and she left..." He explained

Ohhh... So now I know why Sky left... And it's not about any of what James said. I've actually got to know her and , I know that she has the biggest crush on James. That's why she got mad!

I should probably call her later... I mean she's my friend know and I know exactly how she feels.

"Um guys not to be rude or anything but I have to go shopping soon... So um..." I told them awkwardly
"Oh no it's fine we were about to go anyways " said Tris
"Yeah , but hey see you later tonight right?" Asked Brad looking in my eyes
"Yeah of course !" I replied
"Alright see ya later" Brad said to me leaving .
"Bye boys" I said.
"Bye!" And with that they where gone.

I went to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. Putting my pop tarts into the to toaster I went over to clean the mattress up.
I put it away to the closet and went to eat my breakfast.
After eating I decided to call Sky.

"Hello..." Said what sounded like a tired and worn out voice.
"Hi Sky! How are you? I've heard about what happened..." I said
"It hurts... It really does..." And with that I heard her starting to cry again.
"Hey now! Skylar don't cry... Ugh if I was with you right now I would so hug the brain out of you..." I said with a little giggle
"Thanks Maya..." She said.
I could tell she was smiling at least a bit .
"Hey I have an idea! I'm going on a date tonight with Brad and I have nothing to wear. Wanna go shopping with me?" I asked excited
"Sure I mean I'm pretty good at style so , why not?" She replied
"Great so , I'll pick you up in half an hour okay?" I asked
"An hour , please. I need to do something with my swollen red eyes. " she pleaded
"Oh yeah of course! So see you in an hour!" I said
"Yup! Bye" she said
"Bye!" I said hanging up.

It's sad hearing what she's going through. I had the same experience, long short story he was a player so yeah...

I got to my bathroom did everything there and went to my closet picking out some mint shorts and a plain white tee with a small pocket on the right. I put on my white vans and curled my hair while pinning it to the side with bobby pins.

I got my phone and wallet and stuffed them in my purse. I checked the time and decided to leave so I could stop by Starbucks and get some drinks.

Getting into my car I texted Sky that I would be at her place in 15-20 minutes.
